"Let's fucking go, that's destruction right there" in Armada's voice is fucking hilarious. I actually love it when armada talks shit because he doesn't do it often so when he does it it's actually way more funny.
You sound ridiculous. A controller fix is not "making the earth flat for everyone". We already embrace the vast majority of Melee's imperfections. No one should have to worry about whether or not their controller is putting them at a disadvantage.
Scar and Toph are like entirely matured humans if you compare back with the early episodes lol. Toph with iron willed come back and Scar supremely calm and musing on strategies.
You can pretty clearly hear the sounds of the tipper fairs in the first game and occasionally hear sounds in the other games. It's just incredibly low. Considering how quiet Dreamland's music is, it makes sense that you can only hear the really loud sounds like tipper fair and illusion's startup, and even then it's just when they aren't talking or thrashing their controllers. It should definitely be turned up next time anyway.
Oh, and you forgot to post an icon of each player's rank (platinum, master, etc.) like you usually do on the right next to their char icon. Ludwig dropping the ball this episode... :P
Definitely feels lackluster without game audio. But HOLY MOLY I didn't expect Armada to get a knee->offstage Falcon Punch. That shit came out of nowhere, was nearly a sacred combo too. Might've been had he not waited.
That is a ton of Zelda. 1 full game, one guy used her efficiently for a recovery and one guy tried to recover with her and then played 20 seconds of her on the next stock.
I actually held my breath a tad when Plank came up in the queue. Yeah I'm aware he paid out for P5, but considering Armada's financial situation thanks to it taking 5 years, I thought things were gonna get a tad awkward.
The reason they're like that is because this channel is relatively new. The Reads used to be held on Cross Counter TV's channel, but then they broke off. Now they've just been uploading the old episodes mixed in with the new ones
I really loved The Reads when it was under the Crosscounter brand because of the level of content quality. Right now, it seems like there is no longer a real professionalism to it. Not that it has to be the same, but a little more editing quality like an intro if you can. I'm sure there is problems with obtaining the old intro, but I think there has been a degradation in quality. I love you guys! Just some friendly critique. Also, up the game sound volume a bit.

I'm aware of that, however the last few episodes were improved by including the name of the player just in case we didnt know/ so we could know instantly with 0 thought while skimming. I'd like them to bring it back. There's something that offers 0 information on the screen vs something that offers +ve information about whats happening, at a glance. its just far better.
