I remember watching this match live! I can not believe it's nearly 22 years ago! I remember being so excited at the prospect of a 6 man hell in a cell match as it had never been done before; little did I realise it would never be done again. This match is truly unique!
Do you remember who you where rooting for? Haha man I wish I got to experience the attitude era so I always love hearing what people where talking about and opinions.
It was insane watching it live! The show starts with an ominous intro with “The end is here”, and the rest of the show including the match itself didn’t disappoint. Note that this was the match where Austin and Rock finally went face to face after Austin being run down a year prior. I was cheering for both. Angle being a coward and taking his time going in the cell is HILARIOUS. Classic!
I would have replaced Rikishi with Jericho IMO. Rikishi is great dont get me wrong but he wasnt a main eventer at the time. But i supposed Jericho wasnt quite yet either. I would have booked Jericho vs Rikishi and had Jericho go over so it can make a little more sense.
@@carter3369 My Top Five Hell In A Cell Matches: 1: Stone Cold Vs Rock Vs Undertaker Vs Angle Vs HHH Vs Rikishi ~ Armageddon 2000 2: Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar ~ No Mercy 2002 3: Mankind Vs Undertaker ~ King Of The Ring 1998 4: Shawn Michaels Vs Undertaker ~ Badd Blood IYH 1997 5: Shawn Michaels Vs HHH ~ Bad Blood 2004 & Batista Vs HHH ~ Vengeance 2005 (Both Tied for 5th place in my opinion).
Crazy to think that the Hell in a Cell veteran Undertaker here will go on to have NINE more HIAC matches while HHH, who described HIAC as a career killer, will go on to have seven more matches. Meanwhile, this was Austin's final HIAC match and Rock and Angle's first and only HIAC match. Wild.
Ffs it was storytelling, Kurt didnt want to enter the cell, they had the babyfaces come last to pop the crowd and stone cold dragged Kurt in to give the match a hot kick start, quit being a damn mark
Wth you talking about it for the storyline he was a scared heel he wanted no part of this match the faces came out and then had Austin start the fight makes perfect sense
Face Rock and Austin equal pop Face Taker second biggest Heel HHH thrid biggest (mostly boos) Heel Kurt Angle fourth biggest (mostly boos) Heel Riskishi no pop
@@hzq-yg8bj They didn’t own the rights for Rollin when the dvd was released hence why it isn’t on the dvd version. But what played at the actual ppv in December 2000 was limp bizcits rollin.
