BR: br.evetools.or... Got a fantastic engagement against a fleet of Tempests. They tried to headshot. "But it was all a mistake guys, not on purpose, we promise. Whoopsie." -- Watch live at / bjornbee
I sure love battleship fights, the might and power that they bring onto the tabble. I just love it. Great content as always and happy to see you again :D
Good stuff. Missed it on stream, really glad you uploaded it here :) Hope that fight helped you to get over how eve fucked you over in the previous one :D
These were the public NPSI Fleets I used to do when I livestreamed on Twitch. I don't run NPSI fleets anymore, but you can always find ways to build relationships with the groups that are in Pochven. Filament in, and try to make some friends :)
Dont see wahts wrong with headshotting. If they feel like they are not going to win unlessthey headshot then so be it. Just feeding into a lost fight is not mandatory and if headshotting makes the difference then it is what they NEED to do.
Except this is Pandemic Horde, who literally have a self imposed, alliance wide rule against headshotting streamers. This is something that came from their leadership team many years ago, as they saw the negative impact when streamers were getting headshot. Treating streamers with respect resulted in far more regular fights, with higher morale, higher recruitment & an overall more positive public image. This then backfires when you start treating those streamers like shit, going back on old promises and it leaves us longing for what once was. Hence the comments in chat "They've changed".
There is no such thing in EVE as 'fair fight'. If you won, you did it by outsmarting or overwhelming your enemy. Headshoting is not griefing or cheating, it is a way to win, and no one deserve any special treatment even if it is someone with 1kk subs.
@@Dozornui its a viable tactic but it opens up a rather dangerous precedent where it can be done back to your side, which reduces Fun Per Minute as you have to deal with FCs constantly being keked off of grid, reducing organization for all parties involved. As such, most alliances including pandemic horde generally refrain from headshots because everyone has a little more fun when both fleets can actually pull off sick maneuvers and other debauchery since their FCs are alive to coordinate shit
this battle needs cinematic edits. because of all the close calls and almost turning of tides with plays from both sides. really enjoyed watching this one had me on the edge of my seat.
Any FC who FC's in a scorp or other high value target in terms of removing EWAR off the grid, deserves to be headshot. That's like putting a damn titan as an FC for a frig fleet. OF COURSE everyone is gonna primary you. Or sporting an AT ship. There's just certain ships in EVE that are always primaried first. Scorp is the OLDEST example of that. Rules for FC's. 1) Don't use command ships (With exception of Monitor) 2) Don't use EWAR ships 3) Don't use bling It's pretty simple. You want to be in either a flagship, so EVERYONE knows you are the FC. Or you want to use a mainline ship. (Whatever the main wing is of the fleet.)
