Just a word to the wise.. Armasight has had my DVR since December of last year. It did not work, I was told to send it back for repair. Which I did. Weeks went by and after calling multiple times and not getting a return call, I finally got a person on the other end. I was told that it had not gone on the bench for testing and that it would the next week. after another three weeks of waiting, I called and left a message.. I was called back the next day and told that "they needed parts".. we all know they source these things direct from China and that they were not going to replace any parts. I then asked what was wrong with it and I was told " it was not tested so they do not know".. after which I asked if it was not tested how they knew they needed parts?. I was growled at by the woman on the other end and was told "we need parts for everything!!! I am trying to help you out here , hang on".. at which time I was hung up on. After many more calls I was told the DVRs had been ordered and they would be there back in March and that I would have a new one by the 25th. that came and went with little fanfare and needless to say.. NO DVR! I called again today and left a bevy of messages.. got a call back, Linda did not seem to have any idea of what was going on and said she was going to transfer me to "steve".. after ten minutes of hold music, I was cut off. Two more messages and still no return call. This is the level of customer service you will receive after your expensive purchase when something goes wrong. Do a web search on this issue before even thinking of buying a thermal from this "company" so far i am out 300 dollars AND a DVR that they have had longer that I did! Buyer beware!!
@@radamson1 Hi Roy, Armasight was not responsive.. but FLIR was, I contacted them through FB, more like made a case on their page, and they took care of the issue fast.
