Congrats guys!!! Wonderful trips, amazing views, cool couple and dog, strong Defender......every video is so nice!!! All the best for your next adventures! Regards from Brazil!!!
The Defender is in contact to the ground by rubber tires, best insulation for thunder, you can add extra rubber pieces between the roof rack and the defender roof too to insulate even more, awesome content
LEWIE sure was having fun running and jumping in those puddles 😎. And what spectacular country side views . and really. liked seeing all those old buildings as well . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful journey with us your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🐕:) 🍻👍🏼😁
Great film. Armenian is on our plan for later in the year. How do you find routes off road? Also put some floating ropes on your recovery boards so you can grab them without getting into the mud yourself.
Yes it is awesome but we stayed there for to short to really experience it. We used the off-road book and travel book from the travely definitely recommend it!
@@lewieandtherover thank you. We will be heading out that way in autumn, having just returned from 8 weeks in Norway. We want to head to Turkey and around that whole area, but we are wanting to be more off road (we have a VW Syncro) as we keep finding ourselves falling into the trap of safe and comfortable routes, not pushing our comfort zone. The plan is at least 12 weeks or more if we head out of the EU/Schengen - we are from UK and Brexit screwed EU travel for us. Sadly, I can’t find those books? We are loving your films, especially as we travel with a fairly big rescued husky/shepherd cross from Romania ourselves. How does Lewis find the heat - do you make any cooling provisions for him? Lukaz (our dog) struggles once it gets much above 30°C.
@@Cocker-Lilaa you absolutely sick man without international might 😷🤦♂️👎. LOL, Armenia it is Europe centre of European civilization center of Christianity ✝🇦🇲🇪🇺☝. If you sick man it is your problem.
Because the 90 is so much cooler and better for off-road. Even though it’s smaller inside … 90 all the way! Might as well just have a camper van otherwise 😊
@@AnthonyWilliams-vh1ds we‘re also traveling a lot in our Land Rover Defender 110 and it‘s hard to imagine a week of bad weather (in which you can not open the rooftop tent due to wind and rain) ! with a dog ! in a Defender 90 - i‘m just curious 😄
@@theridesideoflife yeah I’m going to just have to sleep in the front seat 😂… I’m used to it from work so should be fine. I just never liked the look of the longer wheelbase ones.
We are asking ourself these question a lot and we don’t have the answer 😂. It just happens this way. It has some advantages with off-roading but if you overland fulltime it has more negatives then positives. We want to complete Central Asia with this set up but are also thinking about the future 😂🥰
