Armenian Easter Cookies: CHOREG
6 CUPS OF FLOUR
1 1/4 CUP SUGAR
1 CUP BUTTER
1 1/2 CUP OIL
1 CUP PLAIN YOGURT
3 EGGS
1 TBSP MAHLAB
4 TSP BAKING POWDER
PINCH OF SALT
1/3 CUP BLACK SESAME SEEDS
EGG WASH HAD
2 EGG YOKES
AND A PINCH OF VANILLA EXTRACT

Thank you for this recipe! My dough also came out very oily so it was hard to shape the cookies. I braided some and the rest I made a round shape. I think we can cut the oil in half? They tasted very good though. :)

I just made them and I hope you gave the correct amount of a butter and oil cz this was too much, but the cookies where delicious 👍🏻 Thank you and happy Easter ❤️🇦🇲❤️

I like this recipe because it doesn't have any yeast in it and also you can mix everything together in one step. Normally with choreg, you have to do it in separate parts and finally mix them all together. This sounds very easy. Looking forward to trying it.

Thank you dear, I haven’t edited the recipe but when you do it use only 1 cup of oil instead of 1 & 1/2 🥰

Hello I think the last is a little better if you have it , other then that it shouldn’t change the texture of the cookie

Love your videos! I made this today... it is delicious! I had trouble with the dough though. It was very oily It made for a dough that wasn’t smooth and I couldn’t shape it as nicely as you did in the video. I was wondering if the measurements are correct.

Hey dear I’m so happy to hear you made it and it turned out good. The measurements are correct for me it did take a little time to form the shapes to, I should have mention in the video that I did play around with the dough a little to help get it to a smooth shape, we can also try using a cup of oil Instead of 1 & 1/2 maybe it will be easier like you said, I’m sure it will taste just as good 😍❤️
