This version has grown on me. I know it deviates from the book, but not so much that the story changes. Maybe because Lily and Armie are closer in age....it's very romantic and sexy. I wish it was on DVD.

The Rebecca "adaptation" was awful. I love Lilly James and Ernie Hammer and Kristen Scott Thomas, but the story line was not true to the book and so far off that it ruined the show that I looked forward to seeing.

I Will see Rebecca because I LOVE the book, but the director is talking about another story, which shows how little he understood the book. Kristen Thomas looks bore un the interview. Armie Hammer has not a clue about Mr. De Winters's guilt. And Lily James is totally Lost, she playa another Lady Rose Character versión. And the trailer looks like a fashion shoot for a Vogue magazine

I watched Rebecca last night and was very disappointed. With all UK's beautiful coastal scenery they picked something that looked like an abandoned quarry. I found the movie too choppy and had none of the feelings of the previous versions. Big thumbs down

This is the WORST remake of this wonderful story. The acting is flat. There’s no chemistry. Even Danvers isn’t sinister, conniving enough. The only thing going for it is the luxurious “Manderlay”. Otherwise, this is a total waste of time to watch. The whole premise of Lily’s character is to be somewhat mousey, naive, retiring. Lily’s performance is pretty empty. Ah..... just a failure on so many levels. Blame the director who didn’t even try to eek out anything noteworthy.

I thought the opposite. A lot of people says when they met lily through the years she's very friendly especially to her fans and takes time to sign autographs and even talk them whenever she has the opportunity. And her costars says she's not a diva on set, and said shes refreshing. This time her sadness is obvious, ever since she was seen with Chris Evans she's like attacked with a lot of hate and lies..
