So the ONLY window you can see the landscape through is in the very beginning of the game? It's sad that if we compare this game to The Neverhood, that old game gave every occasion to watch the world outside and let us exploring the world from the first person. This game is fun and enjoying but it could have been done better. In my opinion they just took a path of least resistance to make this game and to not work on it that much. I have no objection that they didn't use the original Neverhood world and Claymen as a main character because they couldn't, as far as I know, Dreamworks didn't let them to. The only objection I have is that they didn't show us the world from other perspectives than the only one during active game. I would love to see the world through windows, holes, bars, even if it would be a static photos.
Same. Have to wonder how much is on the cutting room floor. Vognaut being inexplicably evil feels like the biggest hole. I have a feeling it was done by the academy (acab) but eh.
I read it all, and yeah, it's genuinely absolutely delightful! It has a lot of emotion put into it, and it's even more focused than the Hall of Records as a whole, mostly cus it's the story of Tzurk and Meva rather than of seven distinct and mostly separate brothers who all went to do their own thing.
@@snigwithasword1284I genuinely thought there was gonna be some malarkey with the soul switching device, like some greedy villain from Tzurk's past took over Vognaut's body. I thought that would be a more fun story, and actually give the supposedly obvious villain a pretty cool twist that most folks (those who didn't read the whole story) probably wouldn't see coming.
Is it worth the my sanity to try and beat this game because I am only at the part past abra ant Lincoln in this giant wheel puzzle and I got stuck again. Are there more puzzles in the game were basically i will not be able to get past if i am not the smartest guy?
Yeah, the artstyle isn't as nice as The Neverhood was, either. Looks like they cheaped out with alot of digital assets instead of making everything from clay.
Did the Skullmonkeys and Neverhood people make this ?? I was born in 1977 and I've NEVER heard of this game ,what console was it made for ? What year did this come out ??
I think it's kinda funny the title has a period in it. Written "Armikrog." It just has this... "Yup, that's the game" feel to it when I see a title with a period.
I had to find this because i didnt know you should click on octopus at the begining while you playing for a dog.. And also when you fed the dog with "flying pill"... However it was fun but the Neverhood is the one and only 🙂
Yea I didn't like it back then and I don't really like it now either. They definitely cheaped out on so many assets, half of the game is poorly drawn in Photoshop using the most basic "3D" fake effects, overlayed on top of some basic clay wall. Nah it just ruins it. I'm sure they had a great idea at first but very quickly it just feels like their HEART wasn't in the project anymore and they just rushed it to shut up the backers. Half of the time the music doesn't even play? Makes the gameplay even more boring and dull. Plus so much backtracking omg.
