He didn't. He was having a dream where he was still in class being taught by his dad and raised his hand in the dream and sleep walked raised it in real life. Which got Levi to reconsider but it wasn't Erwin rejecting the syringe.

I'm assuming armin will do more in part 3 having said that armin has contributed alot already. He convinced Connie to not sacrifice his mum. Which would of prevented the alience from forming I haven't read the manga but I imagen its going to be armin who makes the plan that stops Erin.

Armin was never supposed to be the next erwin. Armin is armin himself. Erwin is always the right choice but Levi made a promise to erwin to die and forget his dream, and he will kill the beast titan

Erwin's dream was innocent like that of a child and Armin's too. The choice have nothing to do with the dream. Floch asks him because Erwin could no longer see himself on top of the pile of corpses "we asked him to become the devil"❤

I'd choose Armin. Erwin threw the lives of so many soldiers away while Armin would think of what's best for everyone. Even tho Erwin had more experience and leadership he wouldn't of came off with a plan to get the collosal Titan.

Because you really believe there was another way? Erwin was a genius, he assessed every situation before taking a final decision. He didnt just send his people to die cause it was the easiest option!! At this battle he literally sacrificed himself while he absolutely did not want to die before seeing what was out of those walls. And I could say the same that Armin would not have been able to.come up with Erwin's plan to defeat the beast. They are both smart and talented, one could do what the other couldn't but Erwins combat and life experience and capacity to see far ahead could have been a greater asset. The death of his soldiers tormented him so much that levi decided he need to be freed. You vote for armin cause the narrative wants us to. But who knows maybe Erwin would have been a better choice to deal with the chaos unleashed on paradise right now

@@jessicad.f5485 I don't believe anything because they want me to believe. If you read the manga he admitted that he sacrificed the lives of soldiers for no reason. In my eyes they both had what it takes but Armin in my opinion was the better choice hands down
