What a track! My mother has died in 2015 and she loved trance like this... When i was like 12 she listened to music like tis. Now i’m 31 and still love this soooo much!
I have YET to see a trance dj return to his roots and produce this kind of music again. Sadly the imbeciles have forgotten and simply don't care anymore. Just fukin narcissism.

Trance has gone through a huge transformation over the ages. I still love the classics, and the new trance too. Still, it would be awesome to see Armin make a new album with some more classic sounding trance, or an asot episode on these classics

Back in the 90's there was no high speed broadband internet or sophisticated music creation software that we have today so it was many times more difficult than it is right now.
fruityloops and cubase was around then also. This was probably done with Cubase, wavelab and some analogue synths. Reason hit the PC in late 90's. Its not really the software that makes the track IMO, its the creative process.

I've always adored this track, I'm 50 now and still love every bit of this tune. Music hasn't totally died, it is on it's last legs though. When your sole aim is to rake in the big bucks through music, you kill it, it becomes as tasteless as flat Cola.

Why do people diss Ping Pong. It managed to appeal to the EDM crowd with that lead sound with none of the unbearable EDM shit. Everything else fair play but I love that one track.
I also liked his old style more but we have to remember that these tracks didn't just come out of nowhere even in his golden years. Armin once said in an interview that he considered ending his career because he couldn't create a track that was even close to being as good as Blue Fear and Communication.

His old tracks still rocks my mood,newer ones...not really.And his asot series is going down if you ask me.Every vocal shit that comes out on market....FUTURE FAVORITE...but that's just my opinion.

What happened to Armin? This sounds nothing like his sets that he plays now. this is so good though, I'd rather hear this than some of the songs he plays in his sets now a days.
