Presenting a merging of two very different pillars on the musical spectrum, Armin van Buuren has once again opened his arms to one of the long-lasting music genres, resulting in this tremendous collaboration with renowned Jazz trumpeter Eric Vloeimans. Kicking off with atmospheric piano tones after which Eric Vloeimans’ distinctive trumpet sounds enter the mix, ‘Embrace’ enfolds as a classic Armin van Buuren trancer, complete with a beautiful set of strings, an enthralling melody, and a magnificent build-up. Multifarious records like this only come into existence when embracing all that’s unexpected.

You're wrong mate, the climax is what you mean. Breakdowns dispose of beats and percussion entirely, which is abviously not what 6:34 does. 'Drop' has been commonly used over the last couple of years and can be applied for this song, since this song is not entirely trance. I'm not saying it isn't, it's just hard to draw a line in cases like these.

While many are busy criticizing commercial music, a few here understand how hard it was to make a song with that quality, whatever the quality that you give it. Every time I hear this song I feel something different. Only now I'm understanding what the music makes me feel. I suggest you try this as well. In my opinion, trance is to understand the feeling that music makes you feel, if someone has a doctorate degree in trance or if anyone here is PhD in trance please correct me.

+JP Holleman I do...maybe you have a different interpretation than me. Armin is slowly changing the genre into what he calls trance. Go back to about 7 years ago and compare Armins version of trance. Go ahead and say I'm wrong but this is not what i would call trance.

The last part of the track is clearly trance. Sounds like elements of life. People who hate on it feel that the transitions were not well done. But it's still a trance track nevertheless.

Il y a tout dans ce titre. De très beaux instrus, un style daft punk à 2.02, de la vraie trance et surtout un peu plus de bpm que sur ses titres edm. bref du vrai Armin comme je l'aime. C'est pour ce genre de sons qu'il est le meilleur Dj du monde.

I have noticed A pattern with most of armins albums. he always opens the album with one or two epic instrumentals, then follows that with a poppy. progressive house or trance track with male vocals.

Bedankt Armin voor dezen album. Laat me terug denken aan mijn vader die trompet gespeelt had. Hy bent overleden in 1985 maar dit track Embrace brenkt al de memoirs terug van hem. Een geweldig track!!!! Dankje wel jongen!!!! Doei Doei!!!!

+vortexx killax Ehh it sounds a little whiny and carhorny so I prefer before 4:04 but still not as ear-cringey as some of W&W (although I do like Invasion). Solid, but not amazing. I put this at the same level as Intense; while Intense is definitely far more repetitive it sounds less annoying and has grown on me.
