Been playing since release date and enjoying it. Great video and explanation of everything. Some vendors have a timer for items. The blue Heist mission for the “Royal custodian armor”is great. Even if you fail it drops in the ocean where you sink the ship. I’ve had a fail then gone back to get my destroyed ship and Royal custodian was just floating there as loot to often be missed. I’ve got it 2/3 runs so far. Gave the 2nd to my friend. But you can also throw it on your other boats you keep. I suggest having a boat 8 strength at least 5base+3 from weapons and armor.
when you went into the Pof8 and sovereign discussion...this is where the game loses me. That grind is absurdly ridiculous. Not to mention to get that many Pof8 to be produced at once you need an insane amount of Pof8 to upgrade everything. The economy of this game is an absolute soul crusher. To the point where I can't find the will power to log in to do it as the grind is soooo boring right now. I just want to get in get it done and be happy with the results. This game is the story of life....every time I set sail to do something quickly the wind is constantly in my face. I am stuck in the endless middle of the road gear loop. Can't afford the high end stuff because i don't have the Pof8 because I am to bored to bother with it right now. 1400 Sovereigns for the black prince armor...really but you need a ridiculous amount of Pof8 earned just to get half that amount. That endless loop is frustrating. Perhaps if they made it to where you did not have to sail back to the helm locations to actually get the Pof8 (like the supply runs) or maybe just have to travel to the closest dock. That would at least cut the grind time down...IDK. I'm hoping i get the second wind to log back in soon. Still like the content of the channel!
It's really not as bad as it seems. Once you get a few POI upgrades it really starts to snowball. If you focus on upgrading your trade route bonus you can easily get 7k Po8 for a 15 min run. It takes about 4 or 5 days to get set up but once its set up it basically runs itself.

People have asked and you haven’t responded you also mentioned “the other video” that doesn’t give us enough details unfortunately I haven’t seen every single one of your videos so I have no clue what you’re talking about. Usually RU-vidrs will drop a link somewhere in the description, comments or have it pop up somewhere in the video so the viewers can navigate to it quickly with ease. Please give us more information on this spoken of marketplace you’ve mentioned we would all like to be able to pick up what you’re putting down if u get what I mean.

How to unlock all the armor: Just do a couple events, the Royal Custodian has a huge drop % chance. Then use that until you reach deep into the endgame to get the Sovereigns for the Prince armor. Then kill the stupid lizard monster 500 times to get the Oroborous. that's it. That's the armors lol

It's not a bad thing. You could trade one or you can have a second one for one of your other ships. By end game. You'll have two or three ships that you have fully outfitted so you can switch between them easily. For different types of missions. You need more than one armor

Southern trade routes have ships with very valuable loot, like paintings and brandy. Kill a bunch of those and sell for 300+ silver each. You can also buy the same items from rogue traders at a big discount, but it's less efficient unless you exploit server hopping.
ouroboros is NOT the best armor in the game, unless your playing a tank ship in a tank build. otherwise your gonna eat your stamina up fast and as a dps you need to keep moving fast and avoid getting hit. Also it has no piercing defense which is the most used by npc's and the rank 15 forts spawn snipers that will 1 shot you in this armor, even if your bracing. explosive is the other dmg most npcs use, and 20% is good, but its not good enuff. and tghe hull heal will NOT repair red damage black prince is 3rd best at most. Royal custodian IS the best for dps and healers because you want to keep moving anyway, acceleration furniture messes up the npc's aiming and if you do get hit, use a repair 1, not a enhanced repair 1 or 2 or 3 because repair 1 only has a 20 second cooldown, the armor gives you a 12 second 35% def buff every time you use a repair kit and u can keep applying it, every 20 seconds with this armor. also the armor has 30% piercing and 24% explosive, the 2 most used dmg types from npc's and even flooding and fire at 12% and there only Dots and weak dmg at that. so overall in most situations, royal custodian is the better choice, unless your a tank.
Do you even have Ouroboros? You need to kill the red sea monster to get monstrous scales and to my understanding that creature isn't even in the game yet.
@@BertyBogTrot no one has it but you can read it’s discription and stats in the codex. Unless there is a typo it is for tanks to use. Dps and healer ships of hit will burn through there brace meter if they needs to heal that much. Without brace meter the main purpose of the armor is wasted. And with no piercing defense and less explosive dps ships are going to die and accrue more severe damage that the ouro does not state it heals, unlike another item that does state it heals severe damage. A dps and healer ships best defense is constant moving. Now it’s prolly fine to use for collecting coins and general soloing. But anything like the lvl 15 forts or getting into a fight with a lot of ships without help, the lvl 12 guy that spawns with the torpedo spamming he does, the RC is going to be better for survival and value. A tank with a build that supports brace and defense will be able to use the ouro to its upmost potential However it’s also going to be useless maybe against lapieste in the upcoming season because there is no toxic/poisen defense on it, and we need to get the armor from him or craft however they add it for us to get to be able to take hits from him. So that’s going to be a tuff fight till everyone gets that armor.
Dude, read Terms of Service… this is an exploit in a live service game too… and I guarantee you’re about to be banned if you do this. I’ve seen it in so many MMOs… massive ban hammer incoming for sure if you do this multiple times and can longer claim it to be an accident… this video alone will serve as Ubisofts evidence to see you out the door.
Bro stfu. Cheating is using third party programs to grant advantages. Exploiting in its right is not banable unless it affects players directly. Unlimited money exploit(non banable as it only effects said player) unless they report themselves nothing will ever happen, still wouldn’t happen. Now exploit rouges to kill random players (that’s banable because it affects the player base and said players) you read the terms but did you skim them? They are looking for things that hurt the player base. Harmless exploits to help individual players will never ban said players because it doesn’t affect anyone but the one person who does it. But if you’re exploiting things to actually hurt other players or grief/troll people bet your ass it’s banable. So unless it effects you just stfu and let someone play the game the way they want. No one complains about you guys and the slow ass way yall play so leave us alone lol.
