Would love to see the PS90 tested as well. That 16” barrel should add quite a bit of velocity compared to the 10.5”

Great job on this video! Some people say the 5.7 round and the FN P90 became almost obsolete once good Level 4 Armor became widely available.

Why not just set a piece of cardboard behind it?

Like to see some off-the-shell 308 and 30-06 against their Level4. Military and hunting rounds, and fire from 50 feet back, to give the bullets half a chance to stabilize in flight. Barrels less than 16" need not apply. 20" barrels preferred.

I think the power of the 5.7 is having it in a machinegun. Anything you empty a 50 round mag into, is going to feel it and it's so controllable you will hit.

Federally civilians are not barred from buying, selling, using, owning, etc Armor Piercing ammunition, of course as long as you are not in commission of a crime.. State laws vary though. There's tons of SS190 on GB all day everyday, even Sunday.

As 'Fun' as all the talk/tests/theories are regarding the effectiveness of the 5.2x28 (Or ANY caliber for that matter), is? For general EDC settings, carrying standard cartridges (ie, NOT expecting to enter a war zone), *IF* the threat is actually wearing body armor? Forget the 'Chest/Center Mass' and just take-out the easier to hit pelvic girdle (Which is UN-armored, 99% of the time). Easy peasey, lemon squeezy!

I got +P+ professionally reloaded SS190 they’re going almost 2300 fps out of the 4.8” 57 pistol. I wonder how much the extra 200 fps would help

May I suggest placing clay an hour much behind the plates… then you can see what damage is caused to skin in f even a small amount actually penetrates the plate

I want to see .22 mag (with pointy tip) out of a rifle/pistol vs level 3a kevlar

Level III+ body armor may also be able to stop .308 AP rounds.. a 5.7 AP round will definitely not touch a .308 AP round which is ZOOMING around 3100fps then at 300 yards still zooming around 2,351fps hahaha Level IV body armor, which is designed to stop .30-06 M2AP armor-piercing rounds

You can make hdpe plated by saving milk jugs and melting them down. Add a thin sheet of aluminum to the front-ish layers. It’ll only stop pistols if I remember. Some RU-vidr makes ba videos I saw

Level 4 armor is rated to stop 30.06 AP. I have an AR 5.7 and 10 boxes of SS192 which they were politically pressured to stop making in 2004.

Try testing the 7.5 brno pistol caliber vs body armor.

Y’all should do a video of pros and cons of suppressed 300blk with the suppressor under the handguard

Just to let you know, you had it the other way around. M855 is steel core, M855A1is steel tipped. Oddly enough, m855A1 penetrates armor better.

5.7 is kinda dubious but what it is for sure good at is this:

I once bought a demo ranch singlet that had been shot by a fifty cal, back when Matt was a medium size channel... To _this_ day I can not convince people it's legit. I can't even imagine how hard it must be to a tiny, tiny hole ro anyone and oh, phrasing.

Amazing how a "little" calibre packs this much power and doing this damage to lvl4 armor with a P90 barrel.

If the plate has a ceramic strike face, it will most likely stop that steel core 5.7. A pure PE plate, which is usually very thick but light, is weak to steel core penetrators. I think every level iv plate uses a ceramic strike face, and I'd be shocked if any kind of 5.7 could penetrate it.

You guys greatly overestimated that round's capability. That round would have to be going way faster to go through that armor. I don't get why allot of people are so fond of this caliber.
