Followed 5 guides, everyone has different answers to S ranking. Tried them all (including this) and didn't get it. I did this to finally get mine: Destroyed the first four barrels using Zimmerman Killed LC before bridge using 4 shots of Stun Needle and 4 Shots of Zimmerman ( i missed two shots of Stun :/ ) Destroyed both Artillery using Zimmerman Destroyed all the barrels directly after artillery using Zimmerman Got supply pod Killed everything in final area using Zimmerman Destroyed the engine using Zimmerman Killed both bosses relatively quickly, first stunning them with Stun Needle then spritzing them down with Zimmerman. My build was: Dual Zimmerman Dual Stun Needle Shade Eye Ephemera Nachtreiher/46E IB-CO3L: HAL 826 BST-G2/P06SPD FCS-G2/P12SML VP-20C Assault Armor Costs at the end of the mission: Paid In: 390,200 Base: 240,000 Bonus: 150,200 Expenses: 37,506 Repair Costs: 15,506 Ammo: 22,000 Total: 352,694 Really wish Fromsoft would just tell us what the reqs were, rather than forcing the community to guess lol
Dude, THANK YOU!! Almost one day trying and retrying, watched countless video guides, never understanding why they were getting the S but not me. Did everything EXACTLY as described in this comment and finally got it.
See here's what I get confused by. I followed this strategy to a T and I made 424,268. yet somehow I'm still make A rank. I don't get what the heck is going on and am starting to believe Fromsoft is just trolling me
This video saved me so much time. I was rushing the end at first and always getting stuck on A rank. It really seems like Kill Points divided by Mission Time is really important because killing a bunch of extra stuff on the way did the trick!
Theres an enemy to the far right of the bridge that you get a combat log from. If you take them out as well as the other lc and all the fuel tanks you should s rank this mission.
This mission has to have some bugged requirement or hidden stat issue with it. I ran through it 5 times on separate routes (one being a sub-5 minute all fuel tanks run) and got A ranks on all (ok 1 was a B but that was such a doomed run from the start). Then I do a 9 minute run where I grab those 16 fuel tanks, 5 LCs (1 on the road, the combat log one + his buddy, and the two in the video), 1 walker mech, 3 MTs, both artillery pieces, and the 2 sniper drones before the supply pod. Barely escape the duo fight so like 8k damage. And I get an S. Double Zimmy's & stun needles.
Just got an S rank for this using your guide. Got 10k less bonus pay and 10k more expenses, and pretty sure I was slower than you, looking at your godly luck with the boss. Man, I love S ranking other missions, but this is just so random... Thanks for the guide!
This mission is so weird. I just finished with $10,000 more income then you did and with about $7,000 less expenses and killed almost all the same enemies and didn't die and still got an A rank. Id imagine my time was pretty close too. Man i love this game but i really wish they had been more clear about "hey, in this mission you have to get x total income to S rank, or you have to finish in under this time, under x for expenses, and over x for paid in" etc.
Word on the street is that there might be hidden key enemies or objectives you need to do so even if you just flawless your route through and do it super fast, unless you did a kick flip 720p no scope background trick then A rank for you. Judging from other comments in the video, I'd try and copy my route exactly, like killing all of the same enemies. It definitely sucks but I don't know how else to help, sorry
Thank god you actually had commentary and said it how it was. I saw other guides with no talking just like yeah it's this easy and I'd do it faster and with better scores and still no S rank. I still can't get it. I'm convinced it's just RNG at least for this mission at this point. It's driving me insane.
And in my last attempt for the night I freaking got it.... It doesn't feel like a win though. I was using the double stun needle launcher/double gatling gun strat. I ended up skipping the last 8 fuel tanks in that lower area before the final fight. Somehow managed to get lucky like you and take out the two guys super fast and took less than 1000 ap damage the whole mission.
You really put it best, it didn't feel like a win. I don't think we'll ever get clarification at least by fromsoft directly but I'm so curious to know what on earth is going on with this mission
@@killermelga it's either an overall speedrun or how fast you kill the bosses. He finished off both in 20 seconds. When I approached it as a speed run, I got lucky and killed them in around 30 seconds. Turn on assault boost at the start and only kill what you can without stopping. Knock the bosses out as fast as possible
This video nearly killed me I laughed so much, thank you! Really enjoyed hearing your frustration and providing your wisdom, thank you for supporting the AC6/FromSoft community.
For non-spanish speakers: As @angelmatoitv pointed out, you can S rank this by just killing a few enemies, the dude in the blue marker halfay through the level, and the en bosses. I complemented that with 1 assault boost to destroy the 6 last tanks, and the laser spear to destroy the previous tanks.
REPETI ESTA MISION 2 VECES HACIENDO LO MISMO Y EN AMBAS OBTUBE UNA S ARMAS: DF-GA-08 HU-BEN (dobles) VE-60SNA (dobles) ESTRUCTURA: 20S-082 MENTE ABIERTA IA-CO1C: EFIMERA EL-TA-10 FIRMEZA IB-CO3L: HAL 826 INTERIOR: IB-CO3B: NGI 001 FC-008 TALBOT VP-20D EXPANSION: BLINDAJE DE ASALTO
Also spent a while on this, only thing that made it S Rank for me: No tanks killed Kill first LC before bridge. Kill LC sniper to the right of bridge and under bridge. Fly to the end Blow up fuel refinery, kill all enemies in the area while it was blowing up Bait melee boss in, kick > laser sword > shotgun pile bunker, then do the same to ranged boss Less than 3000 dmg taken
Just going to throw my build on the pile of offers here. I have easily S-Ranked 70% of the missions in the game with it, and this one was pretty easy first try. Works okay on quite a few players in PvP as well. The aim of this build is to get ACS break, then go in with charged chainsaw to kill or seriously maim any opponent. *Do not* attempt to use the chainsaw like a normal melee, it will not work well. For this mission, kill everything you can feasibly reach. enemies on the outskirts aren't worth wasting time on. Use the chainsaw charging animation to clear fuel tanks in reasonable time, with no ammo expenditure (their explosions do no damage, don't worry about meleeing them). This build plows through Sea Spider and Balteus (especially using a pulse gun) with ease, and trounces almost all AC style bosses, with the exception of Enforcer, Ibis, Fires of Raven boss, and Alea Lacta Est boss. Required OS tuning: Assault Armor Weapon Bay Recommended OS tuning: Damage Mitigation Kinetic Weapon dmg Required unlocks for overall build: Double Trouble chainsaw (Found in crate in Eliminate Honest Brute) Zimmerman shotgun, optionally use 2x, and weapon bay the chainsaw (unlocked from standard progression) Haldeman shotgun (unlocked from standard progression) Build code: W6SJH3XD63HT (for PC) Required unlocks to load *my* build: Basho Core, Head. (unlocked after Sea Spider) Melander C3 arms, can be substituted with Basho (unlocked after Underground Exploration mission) Wrecker Legs (Found in crate in Eliminate Honest Brute) NGI 001 booster (Loghunt rank 13 reward) FCS: player choice, personally prefer P10SLT or Talbot for relatively balanced range assists. Yaba (Attack the Watchpoint) or VP-20S (Clear Training - Intermediate Support 1) General advice for S-Ranking: Minimize Ammo and Repair costs, keep time spent within tight margins, and pretty much ignore time spent on missions that pay you for destroying other targets, like this one. One notable exception to the secondary target pay S-Rank is Destroy the Transport Helicopters, those should be rushed with shotties and all other enemies ignored.
Man, the amount of work and quality you are putting in these guides is amazing! Other channels just do it, they don't even talk or explain anything. They are not making real guides. But you put in the work, mission by mission. You deserve many orders of magnitude more subs than us 84. Just remember us OGs when you make it big :)
Thank you very much for the kind words! I don't think I'll make much more AC content, if any at all (maybe some thematic build highlights) but it still feels great to hear and is very much appreciated ❤️
so what i learned from everybody's videos is S rank requirement for attack the fuel base is: destroy all fuel tanks, don't die and do it under 40k expenses.
For attack the dam complex i got s rank for both 1) strictly objective targets 2) killed both tetrapods and AC I think S rank does secretly counts % of profits you make And % accuracy of bullets , You're not wasting bullets if it hits all targets,
wow, that assault boost missile into bunker is clean af after trying again i found out i didng S cuz [I missed the fueltanks at the beginning of the level] and [songbird ammo is too expensive so i swapped for a melee]. thanks !
This mission S Rank is quite picky. I got a run with a paid in of 488 200 (skipping the LC on bridge, but killing a bunch of bystander MTs by fuel tanks and helis along the 2 artillerie cannons ), 24 890 expanse (8 490 in repair and 16 400 in ammo) ended with income of 463 310. Took around 4:30 or 5:00 min, Rank A. Did same run but I took a detour to kill the LC before the bridge; paid in: 521 600, expanses: 33 296 (14 296 in repairs and 19 000 in ammo) ended with 488 304 income, took me like 30sec more or so because the detour. Got S Rank. Looks like killing that LC is important if you can't be fast (or lucky) enough. Guideline in case it helps someone else: VE-66LRA laser rifle with VE-20C generator (enough to kill light MTs, fuel tanks, artillery, heli in a single uncharged shot, 2 shots for main objective tank) Pulse blade with bansho arms to deal with LCs and HCs (probably can be swapped for pile bunker) Dual VE-60SNA. (single shot for the two snipers MTs, dual shots to stagger LC and HCs) Follow video route, destroying tanks and stray MTs with laser rifle and pulse blade. Where I deviate from the video is after killing the LC before the bridge, cross the canyon on the right side of the bridge, drop down kill the two artillery then OB to the heli + stray MTs. From there, follow video again.
yeah i followed your route and got it 3rd try, i destroyed some fuel tanks with the kick at one point cause the missile launchers were recharging and that got me enough time saved to put me into s rank
I followed this pathing through the level, and blew up the same fuel tanks/choppers/enemies (and a couple extras along the way), but I found my own build to be much easier and less risky. Double laser cannons, double laser handguns. Use the handguns to take out the trash, and blast away at bosses with the cannons and handguns together. The end boss, my strategy is to dive into the small buildings to the right of the arena (as you spawn facing the enemies), and wait for sword f#cker to come at you. When he pauses after swooping with his sword, double barrel the laser cannons and blast him with the handguns. Repeat until he's dead. He's usually dead before plasma #sshole arrives so you can rinse and repeat for plasma d#ckhead when he shows up too. Hopefully this strategy is less risky and easier to pull off for most people.
just a recommendation, use Plasma missiles. they have good AoE by themself and spread themself vertically pretty nice. They are Ammo Efficient and are good for fast runs because u simply can manually aim on the tanks and hit them easily.
After trying everything the community suggested and still not getting S rank, i started approaching this as a speed run. After 3 attempts i got it. Now the question i still have is whether or not it's base on overall time or just how fast you kill the boss. I killed both in under 30 seconds on my final run. I got very lucky. I did manage to shoot enough stuff to get 84k in bonus pay and my bill was just over 27k. Hope this helps somebody else.
Just chipping in here, I struggled with this for ages and then on my last run made a huge effort to kill as many enemies I ran into as I could along the way while going as fast as I could and I got the S rank. Seems like getting the bonus points by taking out fuel tanks/enemies could play a big factor into getting the S rank for this mission
@@killermelga Lol nope! The Fuel tanks is good info and the fact that someone had trouble with this level is also good for my morale. I just thought I was dumb and trash at the game lol. I always figured finishing the level fast was priority #1 and ammo and repairs was #2 never even thought about the Side missions. If I beat it I'm chalking it up to you !
The timer should be around 3.5 min you get super lucky with the boss fight and shaves your time well below that so you can take a lot more damage, I did a run by taking 80% of my hp and I only got A.
Really good run. Love the DGAF assault boost with 300 ap at the end. For others struggling, I'm very confident the single most important factor in S-ranking this mission is killing the shield LC before the bridge. It is a common theme in S-rank videos of this mission. After hours of trying, I just got it. I killed ONLY the shield LC, the trash mobs in the final area, and the two bosses. No fuel tanks. In (many) earlier attempts where I took less damage and killed more mobs, earning fabulous profits, I had ignored shield-boi, and only got A rank. My repair cost was about 11k, ammo cost 18k. There is a reddit thread suggesting it may not be strictly necessary to kill shield-boi, but it nevertheless seems to be the single best thing you can do.
FML I hate this mission. I've tried this build several times, but I just can't beat the bosses very well. If I charge, the missiles just don't lock on. They're also too evasive for assault armor to connect. For as much as I'd like to S rank this with early game stuff, looks like I'll have to wait for better gear. Oh well.
This mission made me quit playing the game. I haven’t been this frustrated with a game ever. Not any of the dark souls series games not Sekiro, bloodbourne none of them. This game made me want to either break the disc in half or just list it on eBay.
i did the kill the LC before the bridge then went straight ti the tower and wait for the boss fight. Took the range boss first with double stun needle then double zimms. Then did the same with the melee boss. Fast and quick with 5k damage to AC but did the S rank. My god this mission almost made me quit.
@@killermelga I tried this route, I tried everything. I got a run where I put up way better stats than you with a faster time and I destroyed all fuel tanks, 30k LC and the two helis on the ice. Yet I still got an A
In all the past armored core series, even confirmed in game informer. S rank has been about profit/time. You need to clear I believe a 90% profit while completing the mission under a specific time, different for every mission.
