@@Mechaneer You can get that pulse blade at this point in the game. Just go through the training and you will get some extra parts. Also fighting in the Arena to get OST chips helps a lot as well, since you can upgrade your AC with OS Tuning.
Picked this game up the other day and I swear I struggle with like every other boss, I really feel like I don’t know what I’m doing or how anything works. Normal levels are fine and I loved the strider boss, but I got to Sulla and I swear he lands every single shot no matter what I do. Got the charge rifle in right, starter sword in my left, and the vertical rocket and 4-shot launcher on my shoulders and I get wiped every time. I’m so deathly afraid of balteus because Sulla has been kicking my ass. Been trying to run a light agile build solely because I’m tired of getting hit by everything
EASY Mode FIGHT (at least for me when I did this) - 4 Legs, Two Grenade Launchers, Two shoulder lasers - Go BACK to the other end of the bridge and get IN the cubbyhole on either side of the bridge - this takes away his main weapon - his Mobility. Then just tank the hits as you grenade him into submission and tear him apart with the lasers.
@@jeremiahlewis8086 in the direction AWAY from where you meet the boss - the bridge hits a wall. To the left and right of this end area, there are small closet-like enclosures without any sort of door that offer protection from all sides but in front of their opening. If you get inside one there are only three possible ways he can get to you - and you can see all of them from this small area.
Beat him. Two things I didn’t know: 1.) The Water isn’t deep 2.) There is nothing stopping you from going back to where you started from. Fall back and use the legs of the platforms for cover. Weave in and out of them, taking pot shots at him to get his stun built up and knife him when he is locked. Don’t get greedy, one hit per session works fine. Whittle him down
@Mcwartegz Oh yeah I beat the game but it was by no means a blast of a time. Every boss was made and intended to be frustrating as hell. If they aren't running away at the speed of light even if you have the fastest mech possible, they're spamming projectiles that overload your shields instantly and rip you to shreds. It was just painful to get through the entire time. Not the type of strategy I expected in a mech game
Use a machine gun in one hand for easy fast stagger build. keep in a medium range circle in the water with two missile shoulder loadouts and a sword for the fast rush damage for the stagger windows. Worked immediately for me. Just pelting him with missiles inbetween everything and always keeep moving
@@lelandcarpenter8181yeah, I couldn't win against him because I'm playing with wemod (unlimited energy and repair kits) and holy shit, the enemy had the same xD
I had good luck with just regular missile launchers, standard assault rifle and the grenade launcher. He's fast but, with being in the air and him on the ground, the grenade launchers explosion radius will take him out.
I beat Sulla with two 8 pack shoulder missles and two shotguns..the first attempt. Then the game glitched after I returned to continue the story and ive not been able to beat him again with this same setup 20x and counting😢
@@timothyholloway9517 I did finally get it. Now that first end chapter boss is really giving me the beans! Dual bubble guns and lazer back packs. I did just barely win that fight
@thesaltyvet88 If you have trouble on balteus use a tank build and Ludwig guns you get them after doing training level one use on both arms and the laser cannot on the bank it will stagger quickly and just keep hitting it with the laser at stagger it makes the boss very easy.
