In the original Armored Core games, AC's that were encountered in missions were just reskinned MT's. They did not have energy, defenses, ammo, or heat (in AC2). However one of the changes that Armored Core 2 Another Age brought about was the inclusion of real AC's in missions. These enemy AC's were the same as those found in arena and used by the player, having limited energy and ammo. There have been some claims that they did not suffer from heat but I was not convinced of this based on experience. I had never conclusively tested it until now. Here I found a combination of attacks that causes Zaltehook to reliably die from heat damage. First AP is lowered with low heat KARASAWA shots and then finally massive heat is applied with grenades. Zaltehook flies around for a few seconds until finally burning away.
