Did you feel anything when fighting Ayre? I was happy I was doing the right thing instead of following someone's selfish wills

I couldn't feel bad for any of the emotional bosses because they whooped my ass and I really had to dial in on killing them. No room for emotions beyond that. All of them made me seethe for one reason or another, so I didn't even feel bad by the time I'd won.

@@Lu1zF3l1pe I’m kind of with you on Ayre. We see what coral does to people and the havoc it can cause in the fighting over it, not to mention how insanely dangerous it is as a material, and all Ayre gives us is her word that it will all go well if we just let the coral go wild. I was more sad that Ayre didn’t understand why we did what we did. Putting a bullet in her didn’t feel great.

I've always had authority issues. Breaking free from people who presume me to be beholden to them for absolutely no other reason than I was literally an inhuman slave, did not exactly resonate with me. It was much easier to take the side of those who extended their hands to me in offer of friendship, who allowed me the choice to either take it, or reject it. No hard feelings attached. Rusty does oppose you should you decide to burn Rubicon, but it is a clash of ideals. He does not hate you for opposing him. In Ayre's case - can you blame her for not wanting to suffer genocide? If you do, you're the selfish one, not she. It is important to note that Ayre doesn't even hate you for attempting to sweep away her species into the dustbin of history. She laments that you rejected the opportunity for Coral and Humanity to coexist - and from her perspective, you were the only possible way that dream could work. Throughout her battle, she is shown to be a little bit more naive than Rusty - the latter of which knows it is too late for take-backs. She tries over and over to change your mind during that fight, only resorting to wrath when these pleas fall on deaf ears. But even should she win, she sounds more depressed about it, than triumphant. A friendly reminder that we also burn the native Rubiconians - Rusty's people - in the FoR ending. Walking together with Ayre and Rusty was the better path. Although, the whole ALLMIND thing really made stuff a bit hazy, with Rusty unaccounted for, likely dead, with Carla and Walter confirmed to be KIA by ALLMIND. A Raven chooses, a hound follows. I was never much of a dog person. I owe Cinder and Walter, not a goddamn thing.
