Half of us wants to have fun, exciting, competitive skill matches. The other half wants to dual Zim kick you in a tetrapod and stun lock you for a shitty low effort win. And the game state favors the latter...
@@andresurbina1095 sadly yes. If you want matches that are more exciting than frustrating and annoying you gotta play with friends or people who think the same. Otherwise you'll just end up fighting a bunch of heavy bipeds that use only burst stagger weapons, ie bazookas and other explosives, Zimmerman's jav beta and such. Basically the game revolves around don't get staggered and if they have earshots then you play 2 mini games at once, don't get staggered and the floor is lava. If 7 comes out I'm not buying it right away. If the stagger system remains and it is the focal point of the game and the only means to secure victory against heavies, while that same system is used to abuse light weights I'm skipping it. I've been through a lot with AC 6, I'm not doing it again for 7. At that point Fromsoft can kick rocks and keep their toxic ass souls player playerbase, I'm out.
S is for Scrub and the leaderboards are for who has the most cancer tumors. Plenty of great pilots that are slaves to every cheap trick in the book. I hope the next patch flips it all on its head.
sadly bro we wont get another patch I hate to say it but the pvp has already been dead I used to play 4A pvp and it makes me wanna cry ac6 is basically just as niche of a pvp scene already and has been, the only thing that will save it is everyone agreeing to use a modded patch but how many of the few players left will stop playing if everyone moves to that

I got to A rank last season, and got back to A this last season, and then gave up. The quitters are truly wild. Disrespectful AF. Customs is more fun anymore.

Have you landed a stray shot before at the start of a match? I dont really get why some players do that when you could move to the oppisite direction instead
sometimes the blast radius actually splashes you. or the player thinks “it won’t hit” and actually hits (source: me, i’m dumb enough to get hit like that)

If you manually aim your shots, the enemy won't hear any warnings and generally would be hit if not aware of their surroundings. Or if it's locked, the FCS would lock faster if in its optimal range after the enemy QB broke the red reticle making it seem like a stray shot but actually FCS predicted. Another thing is that Weapons like Earshots, Fasans, and Zooks, have big enough splash damage yo catch people off guard. And this is not talking about latency.
@@moonblaedeWhen AC7 came out we had to actively needle Bamco online constantly for them to do banwaves in the first few years of multiplayer. Unfortunately seems like the same case with Armored Core 6.
Idk why FS even had pvp in the first place. At this point with how bare bones and worthless they should just focus on single player or co-op at this point.
What I'm saying man, they should've had a co op mode where random generated sorties could be made and 3 ac players could party up or randmn queue in and the main focus of the sortie is to complete the mission at any cost possible. No respawns, the moment your ac is down, it's down. Make the game play higher risk and more fun. But hey wtf I know, I'm not a meta slave sweat like some of these players are. And this is coming from an A rank player. I gave up on S rank because of how toxic the community is.
@@Gingaa187 no bro the answer was to add the things you just mentioned AND put more effort into PVP from what I have heard they released the game right after the campaign was finished bc they didn't think it would do well and that was dumb bc it did do well and the pvp wouldn't have face planted so quickly if it wasn't for the bare bones nature, meta slaving, EAC lag, etc the game would still have a lot more people playing if they didn't slack off so hard on AC6 PVP and the fact there wasn't coop from the start is silly like come on man why can't I join a friend and we fight like 5 arena opponents at once...... mods are making these things possible but its too late the damage is done and how many people who like pvp aren't going to even give the next AC a chance bc 6 was lack luster besides campaign only TLDR Armored Core is in its dark age

I really hope fromsoftware updates the game soon and fuckin fix this shit. Im tired of seeing Etsjin and Zimmermans in the ranks. Shit is so damn depressing and mind numbing, i haye using cheese builds too but dammit Im forces to because of the player base rn. As much as I did enjoy playing PvP when i got the game a little while back, once I hit A-Rank is when the game just became super unfun with the hard meta builds people used. Granted, it is ranked and makes sense ig, but damn is it boring going against the same stuff over and over again-
bro no you are completely right man its why the pvp died off so freaking fast and why people still play old gens bc yeah their balance isn't great along with other issues that old gen has, but i never faced the same 2 builds every match like I do in AC6
Yeah, it’ll be those type of players that refuse to actually lose so they can stay in rank. Either take the L or never play PvP rank at all. OR even better, git gud.
This game is a lot like rock paper scissors. If you're rock matching up against paper 4 times in a row in a Promo Stage it's a bit shit. I matched up against a Paper mech as a Scissors mech 3x in a row. The third match we just ejected everything, danced and forced it into a draw....... and the system took points from the both of us. IDC it was fun neeat little #@@# the system moment. Super enjoyable.
@@moonblaede My last lobby shows how boring S ranked match can be. Both uses V.II Snail based AC with Dual Shotgun, and both stays as far away as possible for the 1st 1.30 minutes of the match. Now that I think about it, they both channels Snail pretty well, lol.
Please man, coming from an A rank player the whole A rank roster is full of the most mind numbing players. I can't tell you how many LW Etsjin builds I faced along with Zimmy's. But Zimmermans are not much of a problem if you know how to dodge em, it's the Etsjins that are the problem currently. Literally the new vientos everyone uses because apparently people can't good with their own creative minds. I have over 4 pages of creative builds I have, and I have this 1 page dedicated to meta and beating the dogshit put of meta slaves and cheesy ass builds. It's pure cancer rn. I hope the etjin get on impact nerf because they're ridiculous rn

I like how people here be saying the pvp is bad or...quote "boreing to watch"... when this guy be litteraly useing a boreing build. Lol Yea it gets the job done, yea its cheeky... but like, yall mfs do realize litteraly every Armored core game competitavly has ALWAYS had thoes small handfull of "metta builds" that everyone piggybacked on. Like im wanting to say for nexus that the pistols were religously used. And in Ac3 it was the starter machine gun. And ofc ac1 and 2 had the karasawa. All of the AC games had...competative metta issues. The only reason this one feels so much different is cause of stagger and the damage multiplyer it does to stunned targets. The whole game revolves around stagger ya num nuts. Its not a build or weapon issue, its a mecanic issue. Tho i think it can still work even with the multiplyer. But perhaps tone it down a wee bit. And no kiteing players is not new to AC6. thats been a thing since ac3. Yall think kites in ac6 are bad... yall in for a surprise when you go against a stealth user in ac3 (valkery) or fight a flighty sniper cannon guy in ac4a that can kill you in seconds beffore you even get close enough to get a lock. Basicaly...Imagine the needle missile launcher, but 10× more range, velocity and the damage of 3 of them being fierd at once.... in 1 package
Tried sniper canons in ac4/4a pve and i can't get them to hit for my life, also, please fromsoft, bring back the fourth gen quad legs, i need to go FAST
The high ranks are infested with builds that are either dual Zimmermann (the shotgun at the beginning) or Kite builds, who tend to use terminal armor for the sole purpose of disconnecting from the game without penalty.
I dont normally play with that bs cheese. I actually like to have fun and use skilled builds, but the state of the game doesnt favor skill over op weapon setups Hence the name of that ac... " Terminal Cancer" lol
