A part 1 of 2 Project update video for this 1/6th scale Armortek RC German WWII King Tiger heavy tank model. This build is for Private commission and belongs to a private collector. The model was procured by the customer in a virgin state and was sent to me for the full construction.
This build video is part of a series that will have continual updates until the end of the project at it's completion.
In this video I describe the work that went into the sprockets and the motors.

Hey first one :) I am studying chemistry and I´m from germany. I really enjoy whatching your videos on my second screen, while playing some War Thunder. You are doing a fantastic job and explain your work step by step. I wish i had a own house, garage and the necessary tools to build my own little tank, like you do. I am surprised that Allen head slipped past the radar for mounting the motors! Oh well you improvised and it turned out well! You have to many videos for my bad adhd hahaha I keep going from one build to the next lol.

The keys for my 2005 taper lock don’t fit in the slotted part of the gear shaft or the bush. They are too wide. Are they a force fit? They sure don’t just lie in the slot like yours. Thanks for explaining the install of the bush lock on the sprocket and the adjustment to the track. I keep thinking the set screws had to go on the threaded part of the bush but then it didn’t align with all the holes. Read the instructions 100 times and it didn’t click till seeing your vid. Thanks.

Hello, I am really impressed with all the models that you build/built, specially with the details and mechanical levels how you improve them, it is just amazing!! I am just curious about the epoxid you use for the casting surfaces as well to reproduce the Zimmerit; what kind of brands /suppliers are they? I have building during some years static models and I use Mr. Surfacer for casting textures and Milliput for Zimmerit and weldings. Right now I am working in a 1/16 RC Tamiya Panther and I am afraid that Mr. Surfacer / Milliput could drop out due vibration when the model runs.I am looking forward to hear about your advice J
