This happened to me! I had about 10 minutes extra and the lady pretty much insisted I open a savings account, which would just take a second and only take moving the funds. Next thing I know I'm whisked off to an office in the back and watching the day fly by.
Debenhams do that too. Everytime you buy something, they telll you how lovely the thing you bought is ( no matter how boring it is ) and ask you do you know about their credit card.
HA! When I applied for a credit card (which my bank promised me when I changed branches 3 and a half years ago) I got no fewer than TWO letters of rejection. And no trips to sleepy German towns either! Bastards.
When people cold call you at home ,say ,"i'll just get them", leave the phone on the table for five /ten minutes(Or go for a short walk),that should be enough,to piss them off.
people who have been to Chernobyl seem to quite like it its missing one of main drawbacks most place have locals, theirs still other tourists but you can't have everything
This is weird. I've never had a credit card application take longer than 60 seconds on a website. Usually I'm approved straight away, or occasionally after a short phone call.
i'm surprised the comments here haven't descended into a discussion on Germany in WWII and maybe the Holcaust with the sad but predictable elements of anti-semitism thrown in
