+Brent z It's not bad to know that country like Bulgaria,that is 90 times smaller than USA is much greater in armwrestling.Dominators in armwrestling are countries like Russia,Bulgaria,Georgia,Ukraine and others,but USA is not even close.You can check the results from World Wrestling Championships in the past few years. I don't want to offend anybody,but it's time for americans to understand that they are not as great at everything as they think they are.

Last I check Breznk,chafee,Hutchings and a few others are doing good....they may not be at everyone all the time but neither do the armwrestlers from the countries you mentioned. It's also worth mentioning that many tournaments I have been to here in the U.S.A and Canada have had armwrestler from Eastern Europe and Russia lose pretty badly so sometimes travel can affect a armwrestler meaning a Ukrainian armwrestler will win tournaments in Ukraine but then lose when he travels to Canada.

+Brent z "don't those countries sposner their armwrestlers?"The quality of life in the countries that I mentioned is not very high.I am bulgarian and I can tell you that there are no money for sports here.Many of the athletes here rely on themselves when it comes to training and preparation for tournaments.We have world champions in fighting disciplines,and in other sports,that should pay their transport expenses in order to go to a tournament.So don't come up with this sponsor thing. As far as that some "armwrestlers from Eastern Europe and Russia lose pretty badly" I will tell you that I DID NOT said that ALL armwrestlers from Eastern Europe and Russia are better than the US ones,but THE BEST armwrestlers are from Eastern Europe and Russia. So I will suggest you to look at the bigger picture and recognise the fact that out there(outside USA/North America) there are hard-working people,sometimes living in bad conditions,but still THE BEST at what they do.

Стоян Димитров I will be sure to look it up but usually I see Americans win or at least place high at international tournaments John Breznk won first place at the golden bear tournament for years and Todd Hutchings and a few other Americans are world ranked....armwrestling is getting more popular now in America so more good pullers are up and coming.

i agree with you. A lot of people put Voevoda up on a pedestal. And i don't agree at all with people when he say he's the best of all time. He beat john one time. people forget that he was beat left and right handed by Travis Bagent, but i don't see anyone calling Bagent a legend. In my opinion though, Bagent was the best left hander in history.

So true....Voevoda is one of my favorite arm wrestlers, but pulling John was filmed during what I would consider the worst point in John's career. He has been dominating EVERYONE for 30 years now, and everyone who knows anything about arm wrestling will agree with that. Ask Voevoda who the best of all time is and he will say John Brzenk. Ask Cyplenkov, Bagent, or any of the greats who the best of all time is and without any question they all say John Brzenk! Very frustrating that people fail to see this very obvious fact.

Alexey beat an virtually unbeaten Brzenk when he was aging and injured. No one had beaten Brzenk, he's the real legend not someone who beat him once (which was his claim to fame in arm wrestling) and then basically disappeared off the scene. Brzenk in his prime would beat Alexey.

Yeah definetely a loser,try holding an ucranian monster strength in a position that will break your arm,the move is not easy and it requires a lot of tendon strength to even hold it,then comes tehnique,and then bicep strength,and he got up just so he can pin him,bc you can't pin easily in that position,so he got up and used his tricep,he really got power in that,he even beated devon with it,so the only loser that's here is actually you,because you judge professionals at their sport,when you can't even strict curl 70% of your body weight with both arms
