Exactly this. I had a great first month when the game released, despite it being pretty buggy, i had two mates who were always down to play for many hours per day. The highlight is the world, we had a great time just exploring and trying to beat higher level enemies together. Too bad that we just kinda stopped playing, i tried to play solo a bit but i never got any real motivation - its doable but it was just super boring.
@@BlackdragonTheShadow I stopped playing like 2 months after release and i didnt really follow the development either, so i have just a vague idea of what you´re talking about. But im glad youre enjoying the game. As i said, i loved the game world, that was always Bethesda´s strongpoint.
@@feefree3901 Exactly, it's not thanks to the game but despite it! That the game's world is so interesting does nothing to remedy the fact that the bulk of the world is straight up empty with no interactive story elements. It just exists to pad the walking distance towards the next set of objectives. Monkeying around with friends is fun anywhere so the game doesn't get to take any credit for being fun to play with friends. (ESPECIALLY so when there are tons of games that are actually fun to play in themselves.)
I am convinced Fallout 76 was an idea being developed but the company(Zenimax) rushed it out so they could make profit to tide over until new game releases, ESO should have been enough but it was greed.
showing the game at level 5 really doesnt do it justice id say 30ish would be okay, around there is seems good for any build but once you get so like 50 a lot of the weapons i like feel useless or you need to be some crazy bloodied (low health high damage) though i have no idea how people get up to a 1000
If you wanna watch an interesting Fallout video might I recommend Mitten Squad’s video: “Lone Wanderer vs The Courier vs Sole Survivor - Who Wins?” Round 1 and 2. Each video analyzes which of the Fallout protagonists would win in a fight, the first round at the very beginning of their games, and the second round at the end with all the crazy stuff and allies they can get.
The game today isn't terrible, but it's not great. The return of NPC's last year was definitely a boost and they've added more content. The latest update actually added to the gear you're given at the start (you now get a 10mm pistol, 200 rounds of ammo, a combat knife, some leather armor and a small backpack). The combat is...fine I guess? The gunplay is passable, but I just use a deathclaw gauntlet to run at and punch things to death. EDIT: the hunger and water mechanics no longer have a downside, they removed that years ago, they no only give benefits to being full and hydrated.

No man's sky was an Indy game that didn't understand what they could have gotten done in time. Big publishers like CD and Bes been around long enough to know how these things take. They have no excuse not being ready day one and I will still refuse to buy them even if "It's good now." I refuse to reward a shit it out then fix it later attitude with games with publishers that know what they are doing and abusing good faith to make a buck.
Would you consider doing a reaction to to the films Zulu and its prequel Zulu dawn? Both films are reasonably true to actual historical events. Zulu could say a lot about the importance of morale, training, and leadership from both commissioned and non-commissioned officers in the present day. Zulu Dawn could say a lot about what happens when a powerful invading force is complacent about its opposition in the present day.
Fallout 76 is the best Fallout Map by far, the game is at a mediocre status but I have a lot of fun with it. I can hit my brother with a shovel. 10/10 game
Nope, nothing like No man sky's redemption story. Bethesda is only committed to doing the minimum viable product scheme with fallout 76 and exclusively to prop up their very predatory monetization BS. Hello Games has never asked for a cent for all the awesome content updates they added to NMS over the years.
and yet the contet Nms is affing still dosnt change the fact that its way more grindy then fallout 76 with nothing to do because all most all planets look the samw with same plants grass and trees
