I rolled my hoodie and rolled it pretty tight and threw it against the wall 10 times and stayed together works like a charm thanks for the videos big help
I ranger rolled all of my 5 outfits 4 sets of pjs and a swim suit and it took up only one row on the long side of a standard large suitcase. Ill definitely have room for souvenirs
Ok, since I served in the German Army I hate almost everything that has to do with the military. But THIS is what makes it awesome: Simple and straight to the point solutions to ordinary issues. Dude, thanks a lot for sharing.
my uncle served in the u.s. army and my grandfather served in the u.s.navy they taught me and my how to ranger roll our underwear socks t-shirts shorts jackets rain gear my dresser and closet well organized especially when i travel on trips going to a amusement park i always carry a pack back with extra clean clothing and a dry pair of shoes just in case of a emergency or end up getting wet put a trash bag to put your wet clothing
Doing this to my hoodie jacket then I put it in my backpack. It makes it easy to for me to put more things in my bag compare to when I have my hoodie jacket just folded up and taking up much of the space. Plus, it easy to find things inside my bag without my flailing all over the place. Thanks very much for the tip it is very much apreciatated.
I used this on my hoodie and literally juggled it on my arms and elbows knocking it around and it stayed in tact the whole time barely moving from the roll
Oy Gringo! You should mention that the rolling method doesn't actually change anything about the overall volume of what you're packing in your duffel, it just makes it a bit more manageable and easier to overlook, when you're unpacking... Your luggage will still generally fit the same amount of clothing, whether you fold or roll, but it will be easier to find your skivvies in a rolled environment vs a folded environment
awesome, thank you. fyi! if not already noted, flip hoodie over fold and roll as you recommended. rolls right into hood and can use draw string to keep snug.
recently got a Patagonia rain shell and have been carrying it around quite a bit in a bag that's a bit small and is always filled to the brim with Uni stuff. this guide really helped!
My wife thinks im crazy that i roll my clothes this way when i pack for a trip, but then again i can get 2+ weeks lf clothing in a carry on with room to spare for other things
i was honestly a bit bummed out that there isn't a way to ranger roll it without having it getting loose so easily :( maybe try using the sleeves to secure it?
+Cougar Ameda Yeah sorry... I mean, it might just work with a thinner hoodie made of something non-slippery, but no matter how I tried to roll it the regular way it just wouldn't work.
