The best part of Lt. Col. Jennifer Bager's completing a nearly six-month deployment to northern Iraq was when she surprised her 7-year-old son, Ian, and 4-year-old daughter, Abby, at Navy Hale Keiki School in Hawaii.
My heart breaks for those other kids who have parents deployed and had to watch those 2 lucky children see their Mom! Welcome home and thank you for your service from the bottom of my heart. I just think this could have been done differently, IMO.
