I gues because in the gay bars many people do it. I am not sure why. Perhaps the important thing on stage is to make a show and not about actually singing. So they don't even try to make it look like they sing.

But Bard and the rest producers didn't want to invest in it. They announced that it was a "camp" and began to open their mouths, including to other people's voices. In the first line-up of this pop group, all this was maintained only by the artistry and charisma of La Camilla and Jean-Pierre.
