We’ve lived in similar homes. Plenty of space and light in each home unlike the civil house we now live after Retirement. That was nostalgic. Thank you goodness
Wow! So much character & vintage charm. So much of light, space which nowadays is a luxury!! Decorated with a personal touch not the usual online purchases that one gets to see. A bit or organising in the kitchen will do wonders as its got designated spaces to cook, pantry, storage to tuck away. Make happy memories as long as you stay there.
This army brat now grown old and not been in cantt since long - just loved this video and all the memories it triggered. 3 cheers for army wives (moms) who make these houses into beautiful warm homes❤
Beautiful house with colonial charm. Loved the large white big (french windows cum doors) if i can call them that. So much of light and soace.Your narration was lovely and entertaining ❤.
Believe me, you are blessed to be experiencing living in a house which has been constructed along the old architectural designs (these high ceilings and roshandans, original wood and glass doors). These provide a natural cooling mechanism and health benefits (from not using synthetic building materials like fibre and plywood). Of course, as the house must be located in an army campus, it will green, serene and peaceful (away from the heat and pollution of the city). These are principles of environment friendly and sustainable construction practices.....but following them to build homes in today's times is exorbitantly expensive.
