Your videos helped me immensely when I went on a trip to Asia earlier this year. I only brought a backpack but saved a ton of space. Now I Ranger Roll everything when I travel. Thanks for the tutorials!
Sharing your vids with family members who don't believe me when I say I can pack five days worth of clothes in a carry-on! Thanks for sharing these tips.
Haha i just did the same thing but in a small dufflebag. I have just packed in there 3 jean shorts, 5 shirts, 4 combo rolled socks/underwear and 2 PJ Shorts and Shirts then my KJV Bible and headphones and still have space lol Then my mom looked at me like I was crazy when I started rolling them lol
Sir, not only do I thank you for your service but for this immensely helpful tutorial. I'm traveling for the first time in 22 years and needed some sort of guidence as to how properly set up my suit case. Thanks

i just figured you out and man, you are helpful!!!! i’ve rolled all my shirts and am in the process of starting on my jeans. thank you so much and may the universe repay your god-like work 😂👍🏼
+armygringo thank you for the reply kind sir, well so far I think I have the Ranger way of rolling socks I'm at the t shirts and I have to say it's hard I can't seem to get the first step correctly.
This is great gives me some good ideas for getting things stowed. Actually if you did alot of laundry and had help you could RR the loads Then duffle bag or suitcase stow things off in seasons. Or do vacuum bags till next time. Great ideas...
Ive watched a few of your videos and now i can easily ranger roll shirts but i still struggle with jeans and other long pants. Specifically the pant legs
While watching the video : ohh mayn. its easy af. i am gonna try it anyway. After watching the video : WTF UHHH COME ONNNNN DAMN IT! WHY DON'T YOU ROLL YOURSELF.. I QUIT KEKCIDJWKDCKWISISKJXDJ
Watched this about 100 times tried to mimic this several times, in conclusion, its still alot harder then it seemed. ( still not able to roll them this way)
DaBookyOtter 345 no it stretches them, I've tried it and left it there for 1 week because I was using them to keep my dresser clear with space. And I unrolled the shirt and it unrolled quickly and it was super stretched....
It will most definitely ruin them. If it's just for traveling i'd advise you to just roll your clothes. Not ranger roll them. Just a simple roll without stretching them. Takes less volume, doesn't fuck up your clothes except for some wrinkles that easily go away.
I realize that this is a six-year-old video and a lot of people found it useful. But for those of us who need direct and explicit instruction, it falls pretty short. My advice: pretend the person listening is absolutely clueless and you have to instruct every single step. So don’t say things like, “just do this so you’re good to go.” Say it this way: fold down the top part about a half an inch, making sure to have the pockets visible.” Or something like that. I could not figure out what you were doing to finish the folding, and I played it on half speed.
