This vlog is based on landslides occurred in Mangan, Sikkim on June 12 and 13, 2024, resulting in six deaths and over 1,200 tourists stranded. The landslide was caused by incessant rains that damaged road and communication networks in the area. The Sikkim government has announced an ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh each to the families of the deceased and plans to rebuild destroyed homes.
