Love seeing all the patches. Minor point on the Manhattan service patch, the yellow ball splitting is fission vice fusion.

When I was in Germany, the red, white and blue Army Services patch was worn by our Trial Defense Service Lawyers, most of whom, were 0-3's (Captains)..

Hello Sir. I'm hoping you can help me. My father, who passed away, was a member of the Army Service Force. He was some kind of medical technician. (Not a combat medic). He was stationed at Camp Barkley in Abilene Tx. Then, he was shipped off to Luzon Philippines sometime after the initial invasion and before the war ended. He was in Manila, Bagio, and Pasig, and treated both American liberated POWs and Japanese POWs. He returned sometime in 46. I don't know what unit he was in, maybe some field hospital, but my brother thought he remimbered him mentioning a mechenized calvery unit. Im trying to build a shadow box, but other than his Army Service Corps patch, (left sholder), I don't know what if anything would be on his right sholder. Maybe the Eight Service Command? Was that a combat patch? Or the replacement command. Can you please advise me?

Great video. Off topic though, i have some 1945 us army air corp squadron insignia patches that someone told my they came in cereal or food products, im guessing it may be true because they are very thin. Are they something that has value to anyone?
