Seventeen actually wasn't under Hybe until recently! They are completely self produced from the start - most of the discography by Woozi and choreography by Hoshi
The short dude is woozi, he is main producer and main songwriter of seventeen, that dude has his name as first credit in almost 90% of seventeen songs and he also produces songs for other groups. The main way you can differentiate them is through guides and their variety show called going seventeen. And if you let us know your music taste we can recommend you some of svt songs. And iam also an army of 4 years and carat since last year and if you are hesitating to know about them because there are 13 members just don't because once you know them and their personalities, the number 13 doesn't seem large and even if one member is missing you feel empty.

Dont stress out about learning their names and whatnot, itll come in with time. they are so good at highlighting each member, that you'll keep changing bias with each era, but they also work so well as a group together, that youll just be amazed at how insane their synchronization is as a group. I suggest watching their dance practice or performance afterwards btw, cuz their performance like adds another level to the song. These 3 songs btw are all from the same album, so that why the videos have the same kind of theme going. personally i recommend Rock With You, Dont Wanna Cry and Aju Nice as my top favorite songs. each one has a different genre and feel, but have that distinct Seventeen flavor. Hopefully you react to more Seventeen in the future, and get to know why these 13 boys are special.
Same here, I didn't have a problem telling them apart so I just had to memories their names. You just need to get familiar with their faces and then you'll see the difference between each one right away

This company was acquired by HYBE only in 2020 but for all this time, SVT is a self-producing group from songs, to choreo, to staging, and merch. The story line of the 3 mvs is that the members were in their own fantasy world and then they realized that their world is not real in Darling. In Hot they became strong and faced their fears aka face the sun. Lastly in World they create a safe place for people that listen to their music. Hope this helps:)
honestly the number of members IS overwhelming at first but they are all very distinct in terms of visuals and personality. theyre the group i actually was able to learn the quickest out of the groups i stan (and the only bigger group is nct)

Not seventeen related but for the intro when you mentioned Ateez, the one with the white hair and piercings in the 2019 MAMA mashup is Hongjoong- leader, rapper and composer of tAteez. Seventeen was actually meant to debut with 17 members but some of them left. They also say that 13 members + 3 units (vocal, Hiphop, performance) + 1 group = 17 Their fans are called carats
She may misunderstand if you put it like that, its just pledis tried to collect 17 members for debut but they never reached that number, the maximum they had were 16 trainees at one point of time and last only 13 were present and made their debut.
no seventeen doesnt have 17 members. that's actually was the amount of trainee they had for seventeen before some of the left before debut. please don't spread misinformation
SEVENTEEN is from Pledis entertainment. They are always so creative with dance movements and experimental music.(They are self producing idols).There is no backup dancers. 13 members+3units+1group= SEVENTEEN 🥰
