Hi Jersey, This is meant to just be a quick demonstration of a particular principle. In my opinion, the learning process of combat goes like this: 1) Learn/Memorize the moves 2) Understand how they work 3) Re-learn how to apply the technique in a different situation given your understanding of how they work. So sa example na toh, kung malakas talaga yung hawak, or may resistance, or marunong siya lumaban, kailang mag-adjust sa technique. On the spot ito nangyayari. Maybe you can add a kick to the shin to shock and the proceed with this technique. Or you can even abandon the technique the moment you feel it won't work. Experience builds the quick decision making skills. Kaya important talaga mag sparring and mag pressure test para ma develop yung pag-iisip sa gitna ng laban. :) - Daniel
