I never really thought what the event was like from the competitor's point of view. This reminded me a lot of wrestling in the chaos, weight loss needed, and such. Cool!
I always think I want to switch to strongman until I watch a comp... then I think that it looks way too hard. You did great! Thanks for taking us all thru the expo too. As a hater of crowds, I am glad to just watch you do it.
Awesome! I am not able to lift any of that stuff anymore. Working to just reduce my weight, and be somewhat normal again. Was 226 lbs @ 5'8" (tons of joint pain); now 190 lbs. My goal is to be 170 Ninja Warrior lbs. In my 20's it was all about gaining the weight, however now it's all about the REDUCTION!! Life's funny. Thank you for the inspiring vid! Kitsune up!
@Kristen graham have you experienced any side affects to your BA (Breast Augmentation) since lifting heavy I know in one of your videos you mentioned you are a 500cc and I am pretty much the same size so I was curious as I do not want to damage mine thanks girl and your definitely lots of motivation your videos are awesome!!your a doll.!!!!
I only had about 2 months to train for this competition. I trained up until about 2 days before the competition then rested the two days before competing.
Well here this might help. I randomly signed up for a strongman comp in October, 2017 with little to no experience and took 2nd place which qualified me for Nationals which was the next month. So I trained hard for a month and competed and did good enough to qualify for the Arnold Classic Strongman Amateur World Championship. I found out I qualified about 2 months before that event and trained hard to try to be ready to go. Wasnt too disapointed with my performance but ready to crush it in 2018 since I have some expierence under my belt now.
I love these events i was watching this since i was a kid in the early 80's and the title back them was called the world's strongest men and the final event was tug of war Typo 3:57 circus dumbell 901lb the record for the strongest man 315lb
