AROUND BENIN CITY, NIGERIA IN A DAY || RING ROAD, SAPELE ROAD AND NEW BENIN 

The market on Ibiwe is called Lagos street market, Oba market is HUGE you should explore, its easy to get missing tho, in my opinion it all looks similar inside. There are also people who know how to braid hair really well there. Beside Oba market is Urhokpota hall which is like a local conference hall of some sort. The museum is right inside kings square (ring road) and Oba palace isn't too far. The 'Emotan' statue is also at Oba market. Theres also the Benin moat which I'm sure you must have seen, it was created by a giant 'Aruan' who made them to prevent invaders, they say he was so big he made them by stomping the ground and he would uproot palm trees to sweep the streets.You might also want to visit Igun street, it is the home of bronze work, which Benin is famous for. You should go down airport road and GRA as well, and probably go see a movie at Kada cinemas. Glad you're enjoying benin but this vlog makes me miss home.

Believe me, Benin city is the most accommodating and ditriabalize city in the world. A city, where no one is a stranger if he can speak pidgin. My little sojourn to that magnificent and historical city in the early 1980 to 89 around Aduwawa, with an hausa, ibo, yoruba, Nigerians from other tribes and of course the binis but, there were never a time or day where we questioned our identity among ourselves. We were one, as we don't need to speak bini language to be heard or to belong.

Dinma, I was in Benin yesterday. What came to mind was, "how I wish I can bump into Dynma". Try to visit Igun Street before you leave Benin. It is the place where the Benin artifacts are sold. Lastly, you be better pikin oh! If you were the every weekend party goer, you would have known the parts of Benin you said you saw for the first time (lol)

i heard you mentioned OKADA, you said something about visiting Okada. please dont go there. there is no point for that. plus Okada is a village in Edo State, that's where Igbinedion university is. and the place is like few kilometers from benin. maybe you meant KADA plaza,, and i think you showed kada plaza in this video already. dont go and enter bus and tell them to carry you to OKADA. no please.

My dear, u hv done the part 1 of ur video shot in Benin city. It is a nice idea but I urge u to go do same videos during this raining season. Then u would also see the beautiful side of Benin. Try and visit Erediauwa road in upper sokponba, iguosa housing estate as well as other places in the city. With this video, we in diaspora will think the government is working immensely. But thanks to those who posted some of the floods that happened this season in most area. If u want to be fame, tell the truth about the government so that there would be real positive change

See Sowore stated in the interview below, contrary to the believe, Nigeria is small country in terms of land mass, smaller than Alaska (one state in the United States), there is no reason why Nigeria should not be developed with first class infrastructure from every nook and cranny in the country, there is no reason we cannot have the proper electricity infrastructure. Just look at the roads as you travel, look at no proper facilities in the side of the roads for people traveling long distance (called rest areas in abroad where you can stop refuel, grab a snack, wash your face, park and sleep in your car, etc). Look at the quality of infrastructure. Even villages should have modern infrastructure like you have in the countryside overseas. Vote Sowore AAC to change this
