so infinite sword flying is real, and pretty cool! Did this cause I thought it'd be funny to go around Nessus with no sparrow. Thanks for theorycrafting this one @itavvy!
"This is your captain speaking, if you look out the window you will see we have been circling Nessus Airport's runway for 14 hours. We will not be stopping. Thank you for flying with Zavala Airlines!"
very glad it did, pretty lenient too! Ended up pressing the fire button while I was out of ammo on the shotgun to try and get some muscle memory formed >.
yeah, it's a pretty cool mechanic! Can help you out in a lot of high end content if you need ammo fast, but this is admittedly a strange application of it >.
for the gun, I like Until It's Return because rapid-fire shotguns dump ammo fast and it gets enhanced auto loading holster. For the Ergo Sum, just go with whatever you have that has the highest ammo count (enduring is what I had, put reserves on chest too) :3
@@errorphase being able to empty another special weapon lets you get mercy ammo on Ergo Sum, and that makes it so that you can sword fly forever (as long as you don't mess up!) auto-loading and it being a rapid fire shotgun is just to make it easier to empty mid flight.
@@errorphase yeah, it is pretty cool! lot of people don't know it exists cause it really only works with two special weapons most of the time. Just make sure you have low heavy ammo, or you won't get mercy ammo for the two specials :3
Yeah, basically what lord said! Make sure your heavy ammo is low/empty and that you empty your shotgun out everytime! I used Until It’s Return cause it is a craftable rapid fire with enhanced auto-loading, but anything works as long as you can empty it out before you get a mercy ammo proc.
when you are either out of ammo or low on ammo for all your heavy/special weapons, it will trigger yeah! You only get heavy if there are heavy ammo bricks on the floor, but you get about one brick's worth in all special weapons for free :3
If you are talking about the infinite ammo, this is because of the mercy ammo system in game. I deliberately empty a special weapon in the kinetic slot and fly with an ergo sum to get the game to give me mercy ammo when I get low on sword ammo, and you get enough ammo from that to repeat the process indefinitely! If you are talking about sword flying in general, froggy has a good video on how to do that!
