I rarely ever comment on a RU-vid video, but this is by far, some of the most spectacular footage of any sailing, even nature channel. Stellar cinematography, color grading, editing, storytelling, scoring, and just overall inspiration. As someone who will be making a similar trip, I am equal parts inspired and anxiously awaiting your next upload. Impressive, to say the least. I don’t understand how this caliber of visual storytelling is free - this is documentary filmmaking at its finest; capturing the world around us. Merci to you both for this.
Your video is simply breathtaking. As a passionate explorer, Tupaïa would have been proud to see how you capture the wonders of nature with such finesse and stunning image quality. Your choice to let the landscapes speak for themselves, without narration or prominent faces, creates a uniquely immersive experience. The absence of commentary enhances the sensory experience and allows us to fully feel the majesty of Patagonia. It is a true privilege to discover these places through your eyes. Your work far surpasses what is typically seen in professional documentaries. As Hans Zimmer highlights, "the soundtrack acts as the emotional backbone of the film. It has the power to resonate deeply with the viewer and transform each scene into an unforgettable experience." Thank you for offering us these moments of pure beauty and reminding us of the pristine splendor of our planet. Continue capturing these magical moments and surprising us with your unique talent and boundless creativity. With all my admiration, Seb
Thank you for your message, Seb! And great quote from Hans Zimmer, thanks. We are happy to know that some people like the kind of content we propose. It really encourages us to do the best we can in each video. Cheers
~Pxbsd--Absolutely. Thank you, Tupaia, for sharing your fantastic adventures of the magnificent beauty of Patagonia. "The world is so full of a number of things...I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings." ~Robert Louis Stevenson 😎
Wow, wow, wow! Absolutely beautiful in every respect. We have just watched part 1 and part 2 back to back, a deeply moving experience. These are prize worthy productions, but more than that, they are life affirming documentaries showing the beauty of the places you visit and are a testament to your courage, your spirit of adventure, your sailing skill and your artistic eye. Inspiring in every way. Thank you!
We were so excited to see the next installment of your voyage. Stunning. You are supremely talented filmmakers. Nothing on YT comes close. I wish you fair winds, following seas and the rewards you deserve

This is the best cinema photography I have ever seen on you tube. We spent winters in Tasmania aboard, we love the cold weather sailing but you have made me fall more in love with it. Incredible, thank you so much.
Maravillosos lugares prístinos, la naturaleza en su plenitud desbordante y en armonía, felicitaciones lindas imágenes, buena música y edición. Gracias por compartir tan lindo trabajo 🇨🇱
How can I like these videos 100 times? Your filming, editing, production is so amazing, I cannot find words to describe it! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us!
New subscriber. You had me at "Overly dramatic music". But really it's the cinematography and compositions that stand out. Very well done, a cut above the rest!
Heartfelt thanks for providing an experience I will never be able to have personally. Fabulous filmmaking in every respect. You superbly captured the inspiring beauty of the Patagonian landscape. ❤❤❤
Hello again Lauric 🇫🇷 and Nao 🇯🇵 Congratulations on your recent cruise with the highlight surely bring rounding Cape Horn . You have become part of a select group to achieve this . I dare say there was some celebrations 🍾🍻🎈at Puerto Williams on your return . I can’t wait to see the video . I was chuffed to receive your response for my comment . Thank you for taking the time . My ‘eye ‘ for your upgrades comes from a lifetime of amateur boatbuilding and more recently , the last two years preparing my 1984 S&S 39 for a prolonged getaway . I completely understand what is involved regarding time , effort and money. So many viewers will only see your spectacular footage and rightfully comment on its superb quality and presentation. … Not many comment on the ‘elephant in the room ‘which is the fact that over the years you have upgraded , shaken down, prepared yourselves and then sailed to these remote places two up before your camera gear is unpacked … it’s impressive to say the least . Congratulations once again on Cape Horn. Look after your boat … look after yourselves … but most importantly , look after each other . Geoff🇦🇺
I too rarely comment on RU-vid videos but this was simply amazing. I would like to learn more about your crew and the vessel so I will do some research. I did hit the subscribe button!!!!
WOW! What a beautiful film. I sailed the Beagle Channel back in 2009, so it was wonderful to see familiar anchorages and inlets. Interestingly some of the glaciers that I photographed 15 years ago look very much the same: Hollanda, Romanch etc. which I can only hope is an encouraging sign. Well done.
I was aboard HMS LEOPARD back in the early 1960’s when she was the first British warship to traverse the Beagle Channel since HMS Beagle took Charles Darwin through. The scenery filmed here is exactly as I remember from my voyage. Beautifully portrayed, bringing back wonderful memories especially the cold. Thank you so much.
