Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new around the house happenings with you! In this video I have a pretty massive thrift haul to share! It's a try on thrift haul because it's basically my new wardrobe... until you see all of the crap I got from the goodwill a while ago! haha.. wait for that goodwill haul in a week or so!! Woop!! This is a thredup thrift haul and try on and wow did I find some really GREAT pieces! I hope you enjoyed the try on because I sure did! When that was over I headed down to my kitchen to declutter and organize my tupperware drawers! wow what a mess that was, but I got it sorted out! Then I clean my kitchen, I think... and I did some other stuff too haha I finally took down Christmas aaaand... who knows what else. I know I drank like 20oz of water... why was that so hard. lol

For your pans. Spray them in heavy duty oven cleaner and cover with plastic wrap, let sit for a few hours. They will look brand new and you don't have to scrub at all.

This works well IMO and what we do. Oven cleaner is a great degreaser and that's all your mostly trying to do.

One suggestion for laundry organization is to have one basket/bin for towels. With six people you would do one load of towels every 1 to 2 days. Don’t wash towels with clothes because the towels absorb most of the detergent and the clothes don’t get as clean.

Kim! For the Pans, my mom has left hers in the oven when she does the "self clean" setting on the oven. And they came out looking almost like new! We also sometimes put them in the dishwasher and that sometimes helps, but maybe for funzies you could try putting them in the oven during a self cleaning setting!? 🤷‍♀️🤗❤ Thanks for putting a smile on all of our faces with every video you make! ❤

Kim, I'm dying right now! I had that EXACT SAME GRANDMPA SWEATER! I JUST decluttered it last year because I just wasn't going to as many bonfires as I used to which is when I loved wearing it! It makes my heart so so happy to see you wearing it! It's probably not mine, but it still is such a small world that you would choose something I had more than 5 years ago!

As far as the pans, those might be too far gone, but every time I do the cleaning cycle in my oven I put my baking sheets on the oven racks. Thanks for the fun fashion show. I have lots of thrifted clothes too! I’m 65 and I have smallish to medium collection of leggings. They are just so comfy and cozy. The BEST ones I’ve found so far, are Danskins that I got at Marshall’s. I got a pair in black for $16.99. The fabric is just thick enough (no see through and it doesn’t cling unattractively, to my rear-end) it has just enough spandex to hold me in without being too tight and makes my middle-aged body look so much better than it does without them. My challenge is finding tops long enough. I still like my tops to cover my derrière. But you young and skinny ladies (like you Kim😁) don’t have to think about that as much.

Yess to ikea containers. The reason i went with ikea containers is because you can get the lids and containers separately so if one breaks you can still make use of the other pieces and they come in glass and plastic as well as a range of lids xx

For your pans: spray easy off, cover with seranwrap and let sit over night. When you take off the wrap, you should be able to scrub a little and it come off.

I wonder if the same hack for oven racks in the tub would work for the pans.....you put bounce at the bottom of the tub, place cookie sheet in top fill tub with hottest water just past the pans, then add blue dawn dish soap, it has to be the blue one. Add hot water again in an hour, leave in for 3 hours soaking. My oven racks come out clean, barely any elbow gease needed, just a quick wipe. Good luck. Oh....love the outfits!!

Cleaning pans idea! I just saw in tik tok that someone put the pan upside down in their oven and then completed an oven ‘clean’ cycle!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ never tried it but the results looked amazing!

I am finally putting my Christmas stuff away. Our boxes are so high that it takes two people to get them down. My husband's schedule and mine have been so off that we have not both been home and not too exhausted... Today, we finally got the boxes down. Anyway, I number my Christmas boxes and keep an index card for each box. I keep the list of what is in each box in pencil so I can delete or switch out some of the items over the years. When I have to pack up my Christmas decor, I look at what is supposed to go into each box. I know it will fit because it all came out of the box with the matching number. If I get new things, I have to find something to get rid of so it will fit. Back when we had bigger houses and twice as much Christmas stuff (27 book-size moving boxes and 3 larger, flat boxes for larger items), it was a great system to have my husband bring in the boxes. For example, if I wanted to start with the stockings and mantel decor, I could tell him I wanted boxes 5 and 8. He would bring just those in and I didn't have a house full of boxes. And the boxes were on lower shelves and easier to get to. The same was true when I was putting decor away. He would bring in just a few boxes at a time, depending on which things were being put away.

Try using 2 large cans of diced tomatoes to your chile makes it more like chile instead of like a spaghetti sauce ! Also French's Chile-o mix original in a packet adds great favor along with extra cumin, chopped onion and chopped green peppers, ground meat of choice and light red kidney beans.. My chile has been a hit with many people for 50 years!

I just want to say I LOVE how big and spacious all of your drawers are!!! My fiancé and I are looking at houses and if the kitchen doesn’t have that much storage I don’t even bother !!

Bar Keeper's Friend! It totally works amazing on pans that are too far gone. I got 20 year old tea stains out of a pot once with it and it looked brand new!

I got some baking sheets from Costco. They are just plain silver coloured pans. They came in 3 sizes; large, just fits in your oven and restaurant size (won't fit in your oven). So huge, and only around $6!

I had the same problem with my cookie sheets what worked for me was fill the pan with water and add a few fabric softner sheets let it sit for a few hours then wipe the sheet with the fabric sheet and everything came off for me. Then I washed it with soap and magic it was way better

We have just got a new dryer, it has a WiFi connection apparently. I've got it downloaded on to his phone. Now he's emptying the washing machine, putting it in the dryer just to use the app. Even looking for washing to do as he's discovered the washing machine also has WiFi. It's 3 days now, he doesn't realise he's doing all the laundry. Wonder how long I'll get away with this. 🤣
