Great video - that is some drive. We have visited most of these places (all beautiful) but not in one day. We will be back in Tenerife at the end of the year and will go for this challenge!

Tenerife is beautiful if you leave the south coast and explore. I have done a lot of diving on the island, as well as trekking in the mountains. Or if you have a young family it's still good due to theme parks and coastal amusements. My next visit I will tour the whole island by motorbike. Great island.
But be forewarned: on the one hand you need a coolant fluid motorcycle (I have destroyed an air cooled motorcycle), on the other hand, if you rent a motorcycle, be careful when receiving it - to highlight each scratch so as not to lose the guarantee money. You will thus have a wonderful experience on this magnificent island.
Good luck everyone - Who did you dive with in Tennerife. I have a trip to Spain coming up this summer and am going to do a side-trip to Tennerife to do some diving. I'm thinking of staying in Santa Cruz to get a more authentic Spanish experience. Thanks John
What a beautiful place. The Canary Island date palm is one of my favorite plants. In Southern California we have them everywhere and in the past few years there is now a palm weevil from South America that is killing all of them. It is the most sad thing I have ever seen and the city does absolutely nothing to eradicate the problem.

A friend and I are in Tenerife for a couple of days. I have tried to research options as for where to stay, prices and the culture of the different areas. I think hiring a car would be a good idea, so that we can stay in less touristic places, but If wanted, drive around and explore the island. My question is, do you pay for parking in the larger places like Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz?
You can park in designated parking space anywhere free in Tenerife but you have to be careful as they can be a little confusing, the rules covers every day including Sundays. If you are not sure if its ok to park then i wouldn't as they will just tow it away if you have got it wrong.
we don't live on sight-seeing only...!!!...this is my 11th or 12th time in the Canary Islands of which I prefer Tenerife so far...!!!...every time for one or two months or longer but this year weather has been awful and cloudy since the end of March and very variable during the former weeks...!!!...by the way best seasides are in the South like Medano and nudist Tejita while Los Cristianos Las Vistas and Playa de las Americas are too commercial and tourist-like...!!!...then furtherly West La Caleta and especially Diego Hernandez nude beach is very nice up to Los Gigantes and its black beach...!!!...what I've lately found really bad is the exploitation of commercial areas and the range of tourists visiting the islands...Tenerife is going to be very soon like any other average European resort...polluted by global traffic...!!!...no more dreams on Tenerife no more love no more passion no more freedom no more enthusiasm...!!!
Have to say Guy ! In some of the things you’ve said is true But you also need to realize that without tourism not enough money would come into the little island! Unfortunately this is the global environment we live in , it’s a fantastic little island I’ve been a total of around 20 times all over the island, and I see the change every time The locals wouldn’t have much work without the hotels ,restaurants, Tours etc etc Stay safe and healthy 👍👍👍👍
