I agree with them. Anyone can do foolish things and then apologize later, knowing they will be forgiven. People always take advantage of you if you do that. We can't let things like this slide. Ghanaians like this "misbehave now and apologize later" thing too much. Ahh!!!!
Of course he should be forgiven but he should be made to face the consequences of his actions. He is not sorry. If he didn’t get caught, he wouldn’t have come to apologize.

Some punishment is for deterrence purposes, some might escape being punished like Dr UN while others like chef smith are the scapegoats to teach others a lesson. So let the ministry or agency responsible for this handle his punishment

Their system will punish you but also give u the platform to redeem yourself, that's the beauty of it. Remember this is more about forgery and misrepresentation, he didn't delete anyone from life.
