i agree with these tactics. as one of the few players who main medic, i feel this class is really the key to victory, but it's often underrated. too bad array you don't like to be invited to play (that says on your steam profile) i would like to show you the power of the best (well, only) medic player in Colombia. sorry for my mildly bad english.

Here's how to not die as medic: get the console version, you wont die because of 2 things; 1. IT'S TO DAMN LAGGY TO DIE 2. IT'S TO DAMN LAGGY TO EVEN PLAY

Shooting Priority list: 1. Medic-No one comes close, the medic is the guy you should be gunning for first, he keeps them alive, so make sure he stops doing that. 2.Spy-You may ask, "Why spy?" well a good spy can murder EVERYTHING! He can single handedly destroy nests, uber charges, and teleporters to amazing spots. Put him down before he puts you down. Also, follow through, he may be a dead ringer. 3.Engineer-If he is out on the field, then there is likely a sentry out there somewhere, make sure he can't upgrade anymore or keep the nest alive. Also, the best way to get rid of mini sentries is to get rid of the guy spamming them. 4.Demoman-If he is guarding a point or cart with his stickies, he can stall a game for as long as possible, killing him removes the stickies, allowing you to cap, simple. 5.Soldier- He can destroy almost everything you put down, but he has a lot of health...so kill him, but kill the others first as he can be the huge pain in the ass to your team, but doesn't take all the Priority. 6.Scout- Unless he is capping something, Scouts aren't something you should chase after and put all you bullets into. If he wants to fight you, he will come to you, otherwise keep moving to kill his team's medic. 7.Heavy-Unless this is the Heavy the medic was healing, this guy should not be rolling around in health while on the middle of the battlefield. Heavies take a lot of damage, meaning putting all your bullets into him will result in one dead guy, and the rest of the enemy team running past you. 8.Pyro- Since pyro lacks huge range, you can spare a second to kill someone else before trying to put him down. Though, the second he is in an arms reach, you either put him down or run like hell. 9.Sniper-He is odds are camping at spawn, unless you are looking for easy kills, you can let him be. Plus, somebody is going to get fed up with his shit and kill him anyway, so focus on someone else.

Great video as always. Many medics seem to think that their pockets are invincible as long as they're being healed. Even I, a self proclaimed good medic, took something away from this. It's great to see you doing more videos based around helping people learn new things.

Here is another tip! Don't hang around with selfish players as medic I learned the hard way because a heavy tag me so he can escape the horseless-headless-horsemann while I have 78% ubre charge.

Another very important tip is to not give up Today i was running away from 2 pyros and a demo with 40 hp and 60% kritz and i just thoughth well bye uber but i kept running, found my team got back into the fight and did a last second wipe thanks to the kritz So just dont give up

Iv only been playing medic now for about a year and I never knew a lot of this stuff. Thanks a lot of this guide and all the others as well.

You forgot to tell them to use the Blutsauger when the server is full, if you get attacked by a horde of pyros with that, your gonna last longer than a heavy. Or if it's a ma with big open spaces to use the Crusader's Crossbow, that way you can still heal your team mates and not be right out in the open. And as a generalization it's a good idea to have the Ubersaw on you, as ArraySeven said, an ubercharge can turn the tables of an entire game.

You tell us to backpedal, so the most cringe-worthy thing I see you do at 4:10 is turn your back and run away from the spy that just backstabbed your patient.

Whenever I play medic, my allies dont know how to act as meatshields for me. I always fall victim to stray crits, rockets, stickies, pills, and demoknights. Whenever I try to fight a medic, their ally is in front of them at all times taking damage as I fail horribly to kill the medic behind them.

Other tips such as surfing rocketdamage and airstrafing, fancy footwork (like a spy), dodging in general, (and, i think theres a strat with crouching right before you think a sniper is about to hit, if necessary), and other things that makes you one hell of a slippery eel is super important, as well as constantly looking behind you, using the focus not spend on hitting people on general awareness so that you're not caught in unfortunate positions. Most of it comes with the general skill package of other classes

There was just something about the gollum cut-off that I cant help but laugh.

A thing to other Vacc medics, the way ubercharges work is a bit harder to control in rushes. Here's a priority list of resistances you should use during separate times Rush with a full 9 man team of separate classes First: Bullet. the sniper and heavy are going to be rushing first, and doing the most in the beginning. Second: Blast. the demo and soldier may take a few seconds, but they do more damage then bullet, this becomes first priority when you see a demo with either a loch' or a stickybomb launcher. Third: Fire. the pyro, unless really friggin good, is almost NEVER a threat to your team, but if you see a heal target at low health, on fire, or vice versa for you, use the flame res. How to block crits. The vaccinator can nullify crits, beleive it or not, and can be IMMENSLY usefull during rushes. take this for example, a crit bomb, bullet storm, or flame can do MASSIVE damage to any living player on your team, so always keep an extra uber ready. the vacc only nulls crits when you are ubered, and it takes some of said uber away. bullets and fire, not so much. explosives, however, take an ENTIRE uber block. Any questions, just reply.
