Great reaction, mate! I'm happy to be one of your early subscribers! Would love for you to react to the movie Interstellar next - If you haven't seen it, it's incredible and I think you'd enjoy it. I'd love to see your reaction. By the way, do people ever tell you you look a bit like a young Anthony Hopkins? :) Cheers!
As you approach the speed of light, your mass is increasing, exponentially, so it takes exponentially MORE energy (thrust), just to Keep accelerating. The Heptapods, obviously, developed a work-around for that. Maybe akin to creating micro-wormholes through spacetime.
@@CallumsTVMovieLocker I think I once used one of Einstein's equations (NOT overly complicated - algebra) to find the speed at which your mass Doubles, and your experience of Time (ageing) Slows by 50%. I think it was around 86% of the speed of light. You could shut off your engines, at that point, and "coast"; You would travel 1 Light Year in about 14 (Earth) months, but Age only 7 months, in that interval. Far Beyond That Speed (say, 98%): If your ship hit the Tiniest bit of space dust: BOOM ! [And X-Rays !] ;D
