Arrival and bording Red Funnel Ferry Southampton

That guy has got to be one of the most efficient loaders working for Red Funnel ;-)

Up until 2008 I probably went on this ferry at least twice a year (once each way), as at the time i lived on the Isle of Wight, and would head across to the mainland to visit my gran (at the time i had 2 grans, one lived on the mainland, the other on the Isle of Wight, and for whatever reason i used to call the one that lived on the Isle of Wight “nanny”) In 2008 i moved to the mainland, but would still visit the Isle of Wight, that is until something happened in 2012 (when i was 12), which resulted in me going into emergency foster care for maybe 5 or 6 months And I haven’t had the chance to go back since

They are bigger than the ones we used to go to france on in the old days ...the old Sealink where a bit small
