Arriving in Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel Island, Azores Archipelago of Portugal on the NCL Escape 

We are aboard the Norwegian Escape on a transatlantic or repositioning cruise from New York City to Rome.
Our ship has arrived in Ponta Delgada, on Sao Miguel Island, the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal on day 8 of our European
vacation.
We are excited to see this port for the first time and explore Ponta Delgada. We did not book a shore excursion. Our plan here is to have no plans and just explore the port to see where it takes us.
I am traveling with a first time cruiser with so many questions. This is our first time in the Azores.
Also in this video, is a Sea Day which is day 9 of our cruise.
Next, we will be arriving in Lisbon, Portugal. We are excited to see Lisbon for the first time.
