Watching your vids and hanging to play with mine. Won't be here till late September. Keep up the good work man. And lol'ed when went into the water.... Oohh noo....
That giddy giggle at 2:24 though 🤣😂🤣 You know you having fun if you sound like that!!! Great video bro! I'm lookin for some shock for my granite. Might give those a shot now.
Ok my big rock stock I can hear the slap not as hard. It just a matter of finding better oil weight . I think I will try a set thanks. Ps thanks for showing the submarine test it past 🤣👍 I have put mine through puddles but at least I know it can survive a dunking.🤭😭😂👍
Big rock takes a beating! And loves it! I have the hot racing shocks on my outcast 4s, better than stock. 140 for the set ouch! But worth it! Nice jumps! Look up rich duberbash vids he has a important chassi mod a must!!!
@Luke Recore .. They do come assembled.. just need to add shock oil. I went with 80wt. And they do have different springs for them all so ‘Hard’ ‘Medium’ ‘Soft’..
Great video and great car. Couple of questions though: - was it necessary to dismantle the shocks? - Were they not filled with oil already? - Which shocks were you using before the replacement? Were they Arrma shocks? - Were the old shocks not good? - Have you also tried other brands shocks? A lot of questions, sorry. I bought the Arrma Typhon for my son's 10th birthday and we are looking for stronger shocks that don't break the bank. Thnx for your help
@RC Bears ..thanks for the questions. The proline shocks doesn’t come with oil 😩. I was running the HR shocks just wanted to try something different. The Stock Arrma shocks are not bad but just to much plastic for me. I got Typhon 6S shocks on my Senton 3s at the moment and they are great too.👊🏾💯
@@Garmon81 I would try calling proline or horizon hobby because it looks like all there replacement parts are just the plastics and o-rings springs to me they should have had them just because things happen…
I was noticing that you were having a lot of rebounding. I have the typhon 3s with hobbywing 120amp 4000kv and I have the same shocks with 40wt and 12050wt diff fluid half n half and I also make sure my arms and axles are at level when I have batt. And body on . I have little to no rebound bounce
@Ev0ltion I think the slash shocks are shorter then these proline shocks I think proline make some for the slash…it will probably make it sit like a monster SC truck 👊🏾💯
@@LBizzyRC I know these are slightly longer but im not sure how would it look while installed. Im looking for new shocks for my tenacity but its unpopular model compared to slash and just by coincidence they share same shock size ;]
@Ev0ltion I don’t have experience with neither of them I would say get them and try it out to see if you like the way it look.. the down side is if it doesn’t work it’s a waste of 💵 but can use them on something else or try to make them work ..
@yasean Bruce it’s your preference on how you drive your RC..Bash/Speed/our just beat the hell out of it…they are pretty decent shocks IMO for how I drive.👊🏾💯
The word " Proline " and just what does that mean ? Well , where do I start ? ....1 . Much more expensive 2 . They do not come with oil 3 . If you should break the yellow spring they do not sell just that part so it's another $ 70 4 . Are they worth it ?...........NO
