Arrma Bigrock 6s First Run (Proline MX38 Badlands) 

Nice run and sick doubles! Agree with you completely, this truck is awesome. I didn’t watch reviews before I got mine, so not sure about the hate, but I think it’s great. BTW, double check the chassis can touch the ground - there’s not much room for bigger tires with current suspension geometry.

Great first run brother. Hats off for braving the cold. The massive MX38 and Punch 7 perks up the beast. Seems to handle well with MX38. Killer jumps off the ramp nice cushion landing on the snow. Truck looks so awesome.

Its amazing what a different set of tyres will do...ive seen several other youtubers say the same when changing the stock tyres... (apparently the backflip 6s tyres are another good option to)

nice vid, I wouldn't know how to act if we had that much snow in AZ.. lol..the truck is truly a nice rig, but your right, out the box you have to upgrade the radio/receiver and tires to match your driving style/habits.. just wait until that snow melts you will really get to enjoy it.. PRO of living in sunny hot ass AZ, high of 75 today.. time to go bashing!!!

Great video bro. Much like the bigrock 3s with stock tires not my favorite but with the wider stance and mx28 honestly imo one of the funnest trucks out there

I agree a set of tires can change the truck completely, as soon as I put the sledgehammer tires on my xrt made it way better

Haha yep, it warmed up here and our snow turned to glue. Mine felt like 25 lbs with the snow. I tossed the backflips on and had better results. I did the collers but need to do more adjusting after I replace some broken parts haha I love it, it's going to fight the Fireteam for my top 6s truck this summer for sure! I agree with you on all your points. Wonder how HH responds a few of us are pointing it out.

Got some sweet doubles with those tires. The stock ones don't seem to let you do backflips unless you get some good air first

I agree the stock tires suck. They are super hard and weird. I have the belter mx tires laying around so I am going to try them just for the hell of it, but not sure what tires I will actually end up running full time on it. I been trying to get the truck to drive a bit better. I need to gear up. Not sure why but my truck feels slow. I tuned the esc but still feels off. Not sure if its me or what. First long chassis so maybe being able to get on the throttle harder just makes it feel slow with out the crazy wheelies.

Stock tires are definitely not ok in winter and especially in Canada, that's what I like about stock tires because they have less grip in certain conditions and when I want more grip I put back flip 6s

Yeah the suspension issue. I saw the videos and the rear barely squat under acceleration and you said the preload was almost maxed out at the rear well it makes sense qui it never squated and looked like a brick

Great bash those double back flips 🔥 👌 I think those tires look great and I would replace the stock tires too. Maybe some belted tires tho. Esc punch to 7 was a good idea. I probably go max punch 9 and add wheelie bar 🥊 do you plan on changing the center diff fluid? Stock takes 200k fluid. I was thinking 500k. Great tip on shocks adjustment 👍 Great video. 😎

Do you think the center differential on the 4s line will male it handle much different. I have an outcast v 2 was wondering if its worth buying the diff cause it really isn't a center diff per say

I turned mine up to 7 nailed it from a stop it flipped on the roof!! Big difference between 4 and 7. I installed avc on mine world of difference keeping it straight it really should have had the better system from Arrma to begin with I have the same issue my truck shut down battery still had 30 percent and I was getting a cell balance issue on the dx5c. I asked Arrma about the esc if they fixed the issue they didnt respond they are just sending me a new one, I disagree on the tires i think they are fine a bit slick on the street but it doesnt grab and roll over they are fine in the dirt might be its way colder where you are. here is the scary part the same esc is in the new kraton as well

Jealous of the snow you have already! Well over $1000+ invested for essentially a custom body Kraton XL still using the weak ESC/Motor system is a tough pill to swallow for someone new to the hobby... That servo won't do much on high grip with those tires either, even though it's a slight improvement over the s652.

Here's the deal: Arrma didn't build this beast for the "everyone gets a trophy" crowd. It's a high-performance machine, designed for those who appreciate the nuances of a well-tuned drift setup, not those who crave the predictable predictability. Sure, the stock setup might seem "unconventional" to some. The rearward weight bias, the stiffer rear, softer front, the hard compound tires - it's not your average RC park cruiser/basher. But here's the cynical truth: it's intentional. Arrma knew what they were doing. They wanted a machine that rewards skill, that dances on the edge of control. And then there are the critics. The RU-vidrs who swap out the suspension for something "more familiar," who slap on soft tires and electronic nannies like training wheels for their egos. It's almost comical, really. These are the same people who probably complain about the "lack of skill" in modern racing games, then turn around and crank the assists up to 11. Ironic, isn't it? Look, I'm not saying the Big Rock is perfect. It's a demanding machine, not for the faint of heart or the easily frustrated. But for those who appreciate a challenge, who crave the thrill of pushing the limits, it's a revelation. It's a middle finger to the beige, the predictable, the "everyone gets a medal" mentality. If you put any proline tire on any rc the tires become pizza cutters and the car will want to wheelie agressively. I dont like proline tires for this very reason. Soft rubber, expensive and gives a feel of fake power At least on the small trucks. I had a typhon 3s with mx28 tires and the thing would backflip like my kraton 4s but the power felt so fake and un proportionate. I run everything on backflip tires And lp tires. I had copperheads but i had to steal one of the rims

I can't believe this thing has to be picked up an carried out after every jump in the snow . You would think for the price it could drive out of that . The tires are only half way down in the freaking snow ! After nearly $1000 and you still have to buy good tires ?? I would expect that on a lot less expensive 4x4 truck but not this .

Why so impressed? It looks solid, but t's not doing anything a Kraton isn't doing.
