It is a really cool truck and it runs great! Stink the body tore on it though. I was loving the wheelies! It was too wet the other day running mine to get that much traction! LOL!
It is awesome all but the flimsy body! I don't think this is lexan it looks like it's the cheaper stuff they use on those toy grade RC' cars because it turns white ware it bends and rips so easy.
The Gorgon rips Steve 👍👍 . Like other than the body tearing issue it's awesome. And it looks great in red. These are pre order in Australia at the moment , but I may be interested. Great fun little truck , and tough too. For the money it's cheaper than some Tamiya kits and it flies. 👍
Looked fun i had one on pre order the blue no battery but got tieard of waiting on it to arrive so i canceled my order Monday and bought a used brushless typhoon for 150 lol
Nice testing Steve! The body caved in on mine a couple times; thankfully no rips.😬 Maybe I’ll need to shore it up with some shoe goo and drywall tape. 👍😊
Lucky you! I don't think the body is lexan it looks like it's the cheaper stuff they use on those toy grade RC' cars because it turns white ware it bends and rips so easy.
These look like fun trucks. You’re the second one who’s had the body rip. My buddy Johnny over at Rek RC has the worlds fastest gorgon so far anyway. I’m thinking we will get one of these for Christmas

Yeah but this thing I seen rips all over the whole body you would have to do the whole inside of it and I don't like doing the whole body maybe a faulty part you know that is weak when you do the whole body it weighs so much it makes the cars handle like crap. @@IowaBudgetRCBashers
I was looking at getting the blue on as it does not come with batteries, it looks a fun truck. But then the ESC is too weak for some of my 2s and to top it off £80.74 plus post for the clear body more than half of the cost of the blue RTR and they do not seem to last. My Traxxas Maxx a new clear for that is £34.15 plus post, Arrma body spares are a joke.
Hi it runs on 2s that is what I was running it on.. but yes the bodies I don't think are lexan it looks like it's the cheaper stuff they use on those toy grade RC' cars because it turns white ware it bends and rips so easy.
@@ShenRC They have changed the listing where they come into stock today and does not say the battery C rating anymore. But the price for bodies and no stock showing at all. I hope Proline come up with something. For a bit more the Vortex seems better.
yeah I don't think this is lexan it looks like it's the cheaper stuff they use on those toy grade RC' cars because it turns white ware it bends and rips so easy. Thanks for watching.
yeah that chassis was like my granite 4x4 it always got gunk inside on all the gears... I used thick tacky grease around the gear unit and on the chassis before snapping it back in place and it stopped it from happening but this gorgon is much better that module gearbox unit design was kind of dumb they should have made it sealed up better. Thanks for looking.
@@ShenRC Also, enjoying your slot car vids too. Did A lot of research on the Carrera digital sets 132. Looks like so much fun with all the options for real racing!
COOL! Yes carrera is fun! policar is also coming out or may have it already they make the digital X over lane change track so you can do digital with policar track also but policars X over track is two long straight size unlike the normal 1/32 tracks that use only one full straight because policars X track will be double as long that makes you be able to go much faster through it and change lanes because it wont be as sharp as a change over from being twice the size. carrera is nice track also I had it years ago and you can run 1/24 cars on it to which is nice.@@fuse557
I was just saying you will be able to do everything the same as like on carrera track with the track brand I have now policar track because they are now making the lane change tracks.@@fuse557
Looks like you get a lot for your money with this Arrma, and it also looks like it handles really well for a 2WD. Good speed from the 550 motor with a 2S too. I like it. But I bought myself a Big Rock 3S for my birthday a few weeks ago so I won't be getting one.
Everybody and his brother is doing that ruck on RU-vid. Do you think it'll be offered as a brushless version? Obviously, this one can't be offered as a 4x4, but guys might want it that way.
Yeah a lot of people disliked that arrma made this but now everybody seems to like it a lot! It really nice other than the weak body, I really don't think it needs brushless it does like almost 26MPH on 2s lipo as is. But I bet arrma will make a brushless version. Thanks for watching.
