That 8S system I was talking about in my most recent comment is also the XLX from what I know so far. I watched your 1:5th Baja 5B video that you showed the Team Corally 1/8th and Hyper Hobao 1/8th in. I believe it’s for sure the 2450 KV 8S Castle Creations Mamba Monster XLX. I got the Mamba Monster X 2200 KV inside my old Traxxas E-Revo 1.0 V1. Best PB on record for me on 6S with it was 80.7 mph. I’m gonna try going for 81 or faster. I got Hot Racing steel gears in my E Revo. Mod 1 gears in it as well. It gets fucking hot even with a heat sink on the motor and a esc with a fan. The X system gets just as hot as the stock MLX Castle system that came in my E Revo V1 years ago. My E Revo 1/10th is almost 8 years old man lol. Can’t believe how fast time goes by…. I’m almost 37 years old I ordered it from Hobbytown through their website when I was 29. How time flies brotha !.
Mine also has the stock wheels out of the box with the stock rims. They are good wheels and rims I can’t complain. The tire compound isn’t bad at all. I’m gonna have to invest in some newer wheels.
RC Custom it’s been awhile since I commented man !!!!!!. At least around 1- 1 1/2 years. Dude I have the same exact car with the same color shell. Mine is the stock V2 or Version 2 Arrma Infraction with the Spektrum Firma 2050 KV brushless combo and DX3 stock transmitter. I got mine brand new 3 years ago just about maybe alittle over 3 now. I did a gear change on it since I did a stock 6S speed run of 60.2 mph. I think I actually hit 61.2 mph but it is fast for stock on 6S with the stock v2 system out the box. I since upgraded the pinion with the supplied pinion out of the box. I don’t know how fast it’ll go now but I’m sure 81-84 maybe 85 mph on 6S lipo. The speed could’ve been 62.1 mph now that I think about it. I know for sure I hit alittle more then 60 mph. Stock pinion and stock spur. What I did was keep the stock spur of course but I swapped the stock pinion for the one that comes in the baggy with the instructions and gearing chart. I think Spur is a stock 46 tooth. It’s been alittle over 3 years and I have not run it a single time since the pinion change lol. I’m sure you and I will both hit 81-84 mph maybe 85 or 86 mph on 6S with that same exact stock firma system. We both have the 2050 KV brushless firma combo. I’m not changing mine. I was thinking of buying the Mamba Monster X 2450 KV which I believe it is the 2450 KV combo. They make one that is 8S capable. The esc that comes with that motor is an 8S esc man !. That’s easily 100-130 mph all day with the pinion change and stock spur. If you change that spur out I can already see 120-140 mph no problem. Let me know in the next video how fast you’ll be hitting with the swap of the stock pinion to the included speed pinion. It would be good to know exactly how fast mine will go. I’ve been following you for the last 5-6 1/2 years now bro and I’m loving everything that you do. People gotta keep this hobby alive man !.
What’s going on with your older Traxxas E-Revo 1.0 V1 ? You still doing those 90-100+ mph speed runs with it or did you get rid of the E Revo. I recently purchased the 1/6th Losi Super Rock Rey V2. That one also has the same DX3 transmitter and the Spektrum Firma brushless combo stock out the box but the motor is a 500 KV. I haven’t ran it yet but I will.
@@rccustom6726 Damn what happened with it lol ?…. Shit I kept mine cause they are rare to find now. I just bought a new chassis for mine and had certain things replaced from it. I got two of the twin Traxxas black steering servo upgrades for it as well. 2075X steering servos. I still got the stock remote for it as well TQI. I still got the SRC Road Crusher belted wheels from Sweep Racing also and right now the stock first generation Talon wheels are mounted to it. I got the wheelie bar also Traxxas wheelie bar and Traxxas wheelie bar wheels with anodized blue rims. Yeah man I’m keeping my rigs shut I hate selling them. I actually did do a lot of selling and buying over the years. I also got rid of my Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL’s and my Rustler 2wd brushed and VXL’s. My Traxxas Bandits are also gone. I also sold my mini e Revo 1/16th scale vxls. But now I got all 4x4’s. Rustler 4x4 vxl, Stampede 4x4 vxl, Arrma Infraction V2, E-Revo 1/10th V1, 1/10th Losi Vaterra 1972 Chevy C10 pickup truck onroad touring car and the Losi 1/6th Super Rock Rey V2 Baja 4x4. I’m thinking of getting either one or two more cars. Either 1/5th Losi DBXL-E 2.0 or another E Revo but I want either another E-Revo 1.0 if I can find a brushless one or I’ll settle for the 2.0 V2 E-Revo VXL.
