When I'm going for serious drifts, I turn the AVC to about 30%. It's just enough to help, but you definitely need to counter steer and use throttle control to maintain it. I've only run one fresh pack in mine because I decided to throw the speed pinion in and upgraded the servo. 😁🤙
Nice camera work haha I liked when you made the cameras bounce back and fourth when you turned it back on after hitting the curb n knocking the batteries out
Tap the hand brake to break it loose and throlle the rest. Works great. Put some felony rear tires on the rear to make it a liberty walk infraction. Keep up the great vids!
It's your AVC, can see it trying to straighten itself up, might be too high or too low. Ebrake is ez, put one in my felony, not for drifting for extra brake power... cause at max speeds it takes forever to stop even on 100% esc brake
Ok..so I'm copying this entire video ..just with a smaller truck..lol..Great job..Great run...well, I mean those curbs do jump out at you sometimes. I hit a propane tank the other day..lol
Hey guy,if you get rid of those adapters on the batteries you should notice less disconnects, heat on wires, and better powerband when the batts start getting low.i haven't done all mine yet, but the 2 I did it makes a huge difference on my more powerful rigs.
Yeah its definitely easier to just use the throttle for smooth drifting. Sometimes ill just very quickly tap the brake and jab the throttle to keeo the drift
I tap the brake to initiate the drift and hit full throttle to get the wheels spinning and back off to control the drift 🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂ya thats it if it makes sense 👍👍👍👍
Yes..and yes that makes sense..It really helps to have something with "POWAH" and a good surface too. He did a great job. You can see pebbles in tires.
theres lots of thing to do to control the drift... most rely on weight transfer. Here are the basics: Applying throttle, weight shifts to the rear Brake: weight shift to the front Cornering at high speed: puts load on the outer tires. Combine these to shift the weight around, there are countless driving techniques based around just these things. Examples: Brake at high speed, load shifts to the front, putting weight off the rear providing less grip there and more to the front to increase grip which could make steering more effective. Turn in around when you brake. Since front will have more grip, rear has less so hit the throttle and you should have instant wheelspin when you turn in which is a nice way to initiate. Countersteer accordingly. Very easy, very basic, it works. Heres another one: candinavian flick/inertia entry, slightly more complicated. Before corner entry, turn into the opposite direction of the corner and brake. Inner suspension will collapse indicating the weight shifted there. Next turn into the direction of the corner and push the throttle. That collapsed suspension will now rebound with more force putting weight on the outer tires on the opposite side of the car with added inertia. This will flick the car around with more force more aggressively allowing you to make a much sharper entry into a narrow corner. This is often used in rally racing. Anyway, im just rambling here. Have a good day.
It's definitely a different beast. And i get why they put an e-brake on it but in my experience and (lack of) skill, it doesn't really need it. And i have only driven it on 4s, so.. Yeah. Nice jumps though! And watch out for wild curbs, they tend to attract RC's somehow!
I use my infraction at the local asphalt track and it is crucial to my driving skills. It is so useful when you need to pull a sharp entry at high speed or when you need to adjust your angle. I can not count the number of times it has saved my ass.
Wish I could answer that but due to Arrma NOT having rear tires IN STOCK I was not able to treat them the same. I will be upping the pinion to the speed gear to see if they match OTB. I was less fearful with the infraction. I do like the rear brake option and yes this can be installed on the Felony!
Nice 👍 I'm a little new to the RC game I got a couple 3s Traxxas cars but nothing 7 scale or bigger I've been watching Earl Morehead and you and I like what you guys are doing I'm going to be purchasing the infraction 6s my first big RC car my rustler does 69 on 3s ... You got any tips for the infraction 6s I was wondering where Earl got the fender Wells..?? And any speed tips for the car as well
Use the brake when coming into a turn dude stop crashing it like that watch drifting videos and learn when to initiate lol good video tho quite entertaining
