Isn't there a tire & rim combo that simply has wider rears, but doesn't change the height to avoid diff ratio issues? I love the wider tires in the rear, I just don't like the square setup, it looks off to me.
You know you can’t do that with a 4wd car yeh? Unless you change the diff ration to suit. rear wheels are taller so will take longer to do a full revolution, front tyres will do a revolution faster not good for the diffs. The felony has specific gear ratios to allow the difference in tyre size, the infraction doesn’t
Yep. Learned it the hard way. One of the rear tires exploded on 75mph pass. Switched to stock tires/wheels and Powerhobby Beast tires and no problems now. Thanks for the heads up.
No I didn't. But it should be done, otherwise there will be serious damage. This video was mostly for show and looks. The rear tires were removed after the video was made.
