Hey Andy , Many thanks for the watch buddy , Well its hard to say do you know what batteries your going to run with your truck ? , I mostly use 8000mah 4s packs and normally get around 35 mins with mine , but your going to need to change down the Low Voltage Cut Off , On this truck there set quite high to be honest with you . I think youll really love this truck i adored mine and wish i had kept it to be honest with you . Stay awesome Chris :)

Chris, any idea on a bigger or duel fans on the kraton v2.5 yet. I lice in Florida, 100 degrees F for about 9 months a year, stock fan just won't cut the heat. Thank you.

Everything you said in this video is on point. This truck is balanced well. Good speed and easy to fix/maintain. Replacement parts are cheap. This will be my go to. They did an amazing job with the 4s line.

Hey buddy , there two different vehicles as one is more of a race truggy , the other is a basher out and out . If you want out of the box 📦 Arrma Kraton v2.5 is your best bet , but if you like to tinker a lot and buy parts the Hobao is awesome and once done more than capable! Please bro I hope you respond i pulled the trigger on this vs the exb 6s I have all of the 4s line aside from the steering this truck is a beast Mojave 4s and outcast v2.5 are my favorites I’m still going to keep the Kraton v2.5 might just make it 6s at some point or go with The kagama what do you recommend? 😊

Hey there buddy , well the MT8 is more weighty that’s for sure and also to be honest it’s more of a stunt truck we’re as this is a rocket on the floor and very stable . I adore my 4s arrmas but also have a soft spot for my MT8 . But pound for pound this is the better 4s truck 🛻 , but I will say with the way the price is in the Uk the mt8 offers the better bang for buck Hope that helped ? Stay awesome Chris

Thanks Chris, I picked up an Arm Big Rock as my first "decent" RC,, still learning to drive it well but I love it. There are great deals on the MT8 and I keep looking at it, I decided on the Big Rock simply because I got is less than 1 year old off eBay at a silly price with updated Arrma shocks, extra body shell and battery, don't regret buying it at all but do love the idea of having both the MT8 and Big Rock. :)@@ChriswithaCrc

Awesome stuff mate, car is absolutely rockin! Use a 2mm hex driver and and hand drill the body pin posts, done this to my Arrma's and perfect now. Keep the vids coming ❤❤

Hi Chris, great video. The Kraton 4s is a rocket !!!! I wanted to ask though isn't there another location with more dirt in your area ? I only ask because I believe that it will unleash it's full potential. Alright I understand that it is winter and it rains a lot in the UK, but even a little bit of British mud would be quite a spectacle. 😁

@@ChriswithaCrc The suspension for sure and putting belted tires on it. Made a huge difference in handling. I got the proline shocks. I did put a bash bar on it and the top brace too. Also threw on and outcast wing with the typhoon wing mount. I got the hot racing transfer case too. Oh all metal diffs too

Big rocks a fantastic motor don't be disheartened pal, and remember this kraton 4s is nearly 40% more expensive. I am saving for this car tho and watching Chris' vids on tuning it up (before 1st run) and the actual 1st run just gets me more excited. Smiles are all that matter, my little mjx 14209 gives plenty of smiles too! Awesome hobby ❤

@jasondemers8522 We had a light dusting of snow here (Shrewsbury), but my big rock's esc doesnt like sand or snow, seems to go into limp mode 🤔. Might treat that to a 4S setup after the Kraton 4S and my daughters crawler i want to get her 😀 Have a blast in the snow dude! Hope it goes well for ya!

Hey buddy thanks for watching Ok I would try this Front 100k Centre 250k Rear 50/60 k This would be a good baseline Depending on what your running it in 4s or 6s then maybe look at thicker in the centre and up it to let’s say 300 up to 500 k Hope this helps ! Stay awesome Chris 🤙🤙🤙🤙🚀🚀🚀🚀

Chris I got a couple of Zee 5200mah 3s packs for Xmas from my wife and I have noticed they seem really light. I charged them to full 98% ran them down to 16 % then charged them. I only managed to get 3100mah back into them. Something not right about these in my opinion.

The zee batteries aren't very consistent I've got 4, 3 are OK one doesn't last long I emailed them and they gave me refund for the one that was faulty without having to return it

@@iankibbler5616 I've used Nanotech batteries for the last 10 years without any problem, my mate got some Zee batteries for his UDR and they worked mint. The ones I've got are hard cased and are really light, Supposed to be 5200mah. More like 3500mah.

The centre diff doesn't seem to make much difference to the turn in still looks like you have to dab the brakes to get it to turn, dose wheelie less tho

Hey buddy , wow that’s awesome your going to love it for sure ❤️ Well are you planning on just running 3s and 4s packs ? If so a good charger is the SkyRC T100 and as for batteries 🔋 well that’s depends on budget, I got to say on this note is don’t skimp out on batteries there very important as it’s like having a v8 and using low octane fuel to run it ! I personally love any graphene based cells to be honest they punch way harder than standard batteries . Hope this helps Stay awesome Chris 🤙🚀💪👊
