Hey Everyone,
Welcome back to Thunder RC! This video features the Arrma Kraton 6s EXB VS The Team Corally Kronos XTR in an epic battle bash! I start off the bashing session with the Kronos XTR on 6s and send it full speed off the Death Ramp! The Team Corrally Kronos XTR does not dissapoint and lands massive quad backflips and huge front flips! This Kronos XTR is one tough rc car! It takes one of the worst crashes I have ever seen with only minimal damage! A few screws and twists from a drill and the Kronos XTR is back out on the bashing field! The Arrma Kraton 6s EXB lands a massive quad backflip and a super clean front flip to backflip! The Kraton 6s EXB also sticks various clean triple backflips and bump flips back to back! The Arrma Kraton 6s EXB has no breaks whatsoever throughout the whole video! At the end of this crazy battle both trucks end up on the bench still in running condition! Awesome video! I agree, it's a tie, they're both equally awesome! But, personally I'll spend my money on the Kronos XTR mainly to support Team Corally (they deserve it!) and to disrupt the market even further. If we all keep buying Traxxas then they'll keep charging extortionate prices and giving us plastic cars, but you can tell they're getting worried now with the release of the Sledge. The more we get behind the underdogs, the more competition it sparks which ultimately should drive prices down and quality up, we all win!

100% nailed it mate. Time to see what others will do to re invigorate the market the hobby and enthusiast without having too take out a bloody loan to be a part of it. Been to long inbetween New vehicle releases and I've moved on and now hard to look backwards. They want $1,400 for the sledge in Australia. I bought a brand new Dementor V2 for $525.00 imagine what it would be like if I have invested the difference? No sledge required.

Basherqueen started making some carbon fiber shock towers that allow you to install the Traxxas sledge clip less body on to it... Nice little body mod already! Just reminded me of the Basherqueen kit so I thought I'd mention it lol 🍻

Yeah bro I think unbiased call you got to call this a tie because both truck perform almost exactly the same did almost the same exact tricks but you're right the XTR had some bad wrecks where's the exb landed perfect pretty much all the time so who knows how the EXB would have handled those type of wrecks.... what I'm super impressed with is how the XTR only took minimal damage is that was one of the worst wrecks I've seen and the drive cups those springsteel Drive cups handle that and only the drive shaft bent probably the worst I've ever seen, a drive shaft Bend, no arms broken it's actually quite amazing both trucks are fantastic anybody will be happy to have either one of these so Props to Armma props to Corally for putting out fantastic tough rigs for us hardcore Bashers great video brother😍😍

Thanks so much bro! Yeah man I think both trucks are equally paired in the stock form. They seem to be very much the same on durability and performance without any upgrades or mods⚡️⚡️🥇. Excellent and honest review. Ive broken the wing on the Xtr so put a wheelie bar on. I break Arrmas more than the Xtr . It really goes with a max8 g2 2250 kv combo. Quickly became my favourite truck. I love the way it handles and feels smooth. Parts are cheap to. This was a great test and fair.

The Kraton body looks sick!!..I kept my center tower brace on XTR and added the yellow foam pieces to it that came in the box..Helps with roof landings for sure

Another great bash, Rocky! The Kronos held up a lot better this time than I thought it would. BUT if anyone could make it a bash worthy contender, I knew you could. That thing was killing it even with a blown tire. Excellent. I would say they are BOTH bashing BEASTS now, bro. Liking the new body on the Kraton, it looks twisted with the zebra striping. But it needs some body armor like tape and shoe goo to hold up to YOUR style of abuse. lol. I would definitely go with the Game Changer duel fan set ups for those engines like Jon suggested; they're worth the price if you wanna keep those engines happy. And they run like unstoppable beasts, but you might want to take the gearing down a tooth or 2. BUT they were ripping it up out there. With what you have done to the Kronos, I call a tie. They are BOTH bad-ass performers, bro. Keep sending 'em to the moon. And Bash on, brother!!!

Thanks a ton brotha! Yeah man many people have failed to see the true durability of the Kronos XTR due to other RU-vidrs saying that it is not tough. The truck is actually very strong and a great car, it is just a different feel in the air and all around 👍🤩⚡️⚡️⚡️I think Corally does not get the good word they deserve because they are not a big brand… hopefully that will change for them one day 🔥👍Good new is that I have some game changer fans coming soon with my Thunder logo on them👍

I’d love to work with 1:8’s. Did that back in the zero’s. Sold them after some hobby change (dj-ing) but thinking of to go back into RC-ing again with the .125 scale models😀

Awesome video as always. You should cut just a bit of the XTR body right behind the front wheels - that will remove the rubbing sound when ballooning and spare the tires 👍 I have both, and they def. have their pros and cons, but I actually think the XTR is the winner. The videos I have seen where they destroy the XTR all have landings no car would have been able to survive (and still be build as a car that can actually handle, and not like a heavy tank).

I'm a corally fan. But in this video I would give the nod to the kraton, only by a little. I think it's a little skewed because Kronos had that crash but both are tough rigs. Corally has come a long way.

Kraton in this case should take the besting better even with those cheap screws, bad plastics in diff case and shock holders

I'd probably go with the Kraton, but but getting parts for them can be a nightmare. Both preformed very well. You might want to check out the Game Changer duel fan set up and heatsink for your 6s motors,their the best fans I've found cooling motors. Awesome video man.

What's Ideal Heat Range For A Motor Like That? One Time My Motor Ran @ 232°F & I Had A Fan On The Motor Running A 21t Pinion Gear On The Kraton Exb & Only Ran It For 15mins.. But It Was Summer Time In Vegas With 114° In The Late Afternoon With The Sun Down..Lol!

Quick tip...get some old rubber fuel line hose that fits over the jaws of your vise grips slide it on before you use them for shock rods ect..that u dont want teeth marks in.
